And “Thou shalt not kill” (or “murder”, in case somebody gets aggro over semantics, again). The deaths of LGBTQ+ simply for being LGBTQ+ goes against the bible (that so many religious harpies cling onto), IMO.
Along with “he who is without sin shall cast the first stone.” As we’re all sinners, none of us have a “right” to cast the first stone onto other sinners, as we are not pure of sin, either. It just blows my mind how often those passages are disregarded, but the one to tear down LGBTQ+ members is always brought up. Drives me nuts!

same thing with 9/11, muslim extremists used their religion to justify attacks, but that doesnt mean being muslim is bad, but a lot of people are scared of muslim just because of the few extremists who weaponize their religion, it sucks because the good people get hate for no reason
extremists dont represent the majority, lots of christians support lgbt, and lots of muslims support lgbt. best to ignore the crappy extremists when u can and let them rot away like they deserve

I wish I had the motivation to do Torgast for stuff but I won’t even go there on any of my Warlocks to do the calling when it’s in there anymore because I’ve just never enjoyed it.

It’s a lot to go through and it’s good that you’re crying and processing your emotions.
Tbh my family is pretty blatantly homophobic but whenever I catch them say things like the monkeypox thing, I immediately call them out for being stupid. Same thing happened when they said certain racist things about covid as well. Diseases aren’t going after a specific group of people, only idiots think that way. Now were there circumstances that led to an increased spread? Yes. It came right after June and obviously party-goers who engaged in more risky behavior that included prolonged skin-on-skin contact would be at high risk of transmission. But notice how that’s describing actions that lead to higher risk instead of attacking a group of people.
Idk, I just find it funny cause homophobes tend to play out the “imverysmart hurrdurrr” shtick and that they’re purely logical and critical. But then I see their arguments and how fast they respond to fear and group-think and I just have to fight the urge to want to drag them.
So I’m not sure how you can feel better about your situation other than realizing that these people aren’t exactly bright and that you’re better off not wasting your time on them. I mean I have straight friends who aren’t 100% about the entire LGBTQ+ thing, but they’re intelligent enough to know that I’m ‘me’ and not whatever stereotype they’ve consumed. So we can connect based on other common interests and treat each other with respect. And if needed, sometimes we’ll have conversations, but we do so with an open-mind. Look out for people like that. They’re the friends worth keeping.

We have pronouns. They are the same pronouns we have had in the English language for centuries. Gays are happy with them, Bis are happy with them and Trans are happy with them.
Now you are down to less than 1% of the population who all think differently. Why turn the English language inside out when no one can even agree on what that less than a fraction of 1% really want?

When did I say I had no interest? So now let me ask you, are you interested in LGBT topics? If not, why did you click on this story enough to know how often I enter a note?
What are they doing? I have them blocked because they speak over actual trans people on trans issues.
That and they’re a Thalassian elf hunter with a T name who talks over and acts like they speak for LGBT+ people. I think they’re just another T troll alt trying to do a longer con.
