Lgbt community

Pretty easy question really
Does any one know of an lgbt community?
Horde or alliance since I’ve not settled on faction

Proudmoore is known for a good community. Think it’s mostly alliance.

Sorry if you didn’t mean server wise lol.

You can probably find a discord for it if you google it.

Not sure anybody really uses the communities feature though if that’s what you’re talking about.

Still worth having a look I imagine, I threw LGBT into the search and it seemed to return a few communities with quite a few members. Not too sure about activity but still!

Proudmoore, I’ve heard, is very accepting and is heavily populated with LGBT+ folks. RP servers are also fantastic, but of course you should only really consider that if you plan to RP. :rainbow_flag:

This isn’t really a thing. Most people don’t RP. It’s totally fine to play on RP servers and never RP so long as you’re not actively griefing RP.

There are several but they are quite inactive :frowning:

Well, while I do appreciate folks not griefing when they come over, it’s still a precedent I don’t like to set. I prefer to see folks come to an RP server that’ll actually partake. If they’re not a roleplayer, then Proudmoore probably suits them better anyway in terms of endgame activity. But it’s their sub. I’m just giving my recommendations.

Proudmoore or Moonguard on the alliance have LGBT communities.

Are there Horde servers as well that are LGBTQ friendly? That’d be great for anyone looking to get into the Horde

Proudmoore is on both sides, from what I recall, though it’s been many years. I play primarily on Wyrmrest Accord, which is sort of the de facto Horde RP server. It’s very welcoming for LGBT+ folks.

I’ve seen LGBT people on moonguard horde but moonguard horde is way smaller. I assume Wyrmrest might have them, but I just can’t get into wyrmrest RP style so I never stayed long enough to verify.

No idea about proudmoore horde but proudmoore alliance is the most famous LGBT area of WoW.

Nice! I’ll give that a ringer for anyone looking for a nice place that’s welcoming! (Horde wise.)

Honestly, Moon Guard is extremely accepting on both sides.

I’m guessing the Community system in WoW hasn’t quite taken off yet, so I would look to Discord or something along those lines if you are having trouble finding a WoW community to better suit your wants and needs. I’m guessing it also depends on the server too, but hopefully you can find one in game. If not you may need to think outside the box.

I played on MG Horde for a long time, and it certainly has a great (if small, nowadays) community. It’s one of those things one should “test the waters” with; take a good look at both servers and make your own determinations. They truly do have their own cultures.

Yeah I really like MG Horde rp style.

i’m curious what exactly do you guys mean when you refer to rp style?

Just the way you would RP something. I found Wyrmrest exhausting because of how menial things get so detailed.

Eh you just gotta learn that some people will do that and it’s far from required to follow.
