I am currently looking to expand my roleplay network within the community with people who are interested in developing stories long-term or short-term. Because roleplayers are scattered all over the place and tend to be a bit shyer when it comes to approaching other roleplayers, I figured I would advertise myself the best way I know how aside from roleplaying itself. I understand that my character may not interest everyone, so that is why I decided to write this forum post in hopes to gauge interest to those seeking the same thing I am.
ABOUT THE AUTHOR & CHARACTER
I have been roleplaying since 2012, and Jacuren has been my main roleplay character since that time. I enjoy character building, and since my character has been around for so long, I often find myself enjoying Jacuren playing an influential part to someone else’s character, and assisting with building their story by just simply roleplaying. Since I am sure this post will be relatively lengthy, here are some bullet points that I feel are necessary to mention about me:
- I feel I am well-versed when it comes to roleplay and understand its general etiquette. You will not have to worry about mixing IC/OOC, as well as any Godmodding/Metagaming/Powerplaying.
- I am passionate about writing, which should not be confused with taking things personally. Once again, I understand that this is a game and we all pay our subscription to do whatever we want.
- I feel it is a must to have clear communication with the people I roleplay with. This can consist of plot development to a simple hello. I am friendly and enjoy being friendly with people!
- I am a mirror roleplayer, meaning I will mirror the amount of effort you put into your writing. This is mainly for comfort to my partner… as I feel it may come off as intimidating if there is noticeable contrast in styles. I don’t want to shoo people away, I want to roleplay with them!
- I do have obligations outside of roleplaying with my network. Not only do I run a heavy RP guild, but I also have obligations out of game that may not make me readily available when you are. This goes back to communication, and how important I feel it is.
- I am open to different types of roleplay. Again, just communicate with me before hand.
- I enjoy roleplay outside of the game as well. Discord is really the only method out of game that I have exposure to at the moment.
ABOUT JACUREN
I have a lot of time and dedication built into Jacuren’s character concept. Just so I dont forget what I write, I have built a WoWpedia page for her history. If you don’t mind spoilers, feel free to read ahead. Just NOTE: It is currently being reworked. It says Emerald Dream, but I am on WrA.

Here are some highlights on my character:
- Jacuren has a detailed story, but overall she is a simple character. She doesn’t shoot lasers out of her eyes or come from a creatively tragic background. She often described as relatable and real.
- She is a Paladin with a Lawful Good alignment. She isn’t really a zealous character. Actually, one of the things she strongly believes in is that faith in the Light should be a choice and that forcing someone into this religion creates false practitioners which is not what she wants to see.
- She is friendly with any race from both factions, mostly with elves due to the location of where she was raised. Orcs and Forsaken are the only ones she may be hostile towards, simply due to her experiences with them.
- She was raised to be kind and genuine, as well as keep up her appearance as a Lady.
