LFR/NORMAL Queue System

I am here to suggest making both LFR and Normal raid modes Queue-able.

Just make LRF completion a prerequisite for Normal mode. This would allow people that wish to progress through difficulties to do so at their own pace, without having to deal with cookie-cutter class/talent requirements, guild drama and schedules, IO inquisitions, and mandatory add-on usage etc., etc.

or let Normal mode be the LFR - but with a queue option.

Normal and M0 are similar in that they’re easy and puggable but require players to form their own groups. It’s about nudging players into organized group content in a gentle way which is why they aren’t part of the auto match making system.

For players who don’t want that social dynamic LFx exists.

Bunch of elitists will say otherwise, but +1… make the game slightly more casual friendly.

Id say remove lfr entirely.

The problem with that is that players don’t like it be a “gentle way” to introduce people to the content. Most of the time they require you to out gear the raid or have the achievement already. That and some people just don’t bother due to fear of rejection.

The issue is normal raiding doesnt last through the tier. It barely lasts the first week since M+ gives gear faster.

After a week or two normal starts to die and after a month Normal raiding can be considered dead.

Remember when LFR was made to be almost as hard as normal, and groups were getting mad and would get 20 stacks of determination?

The best time to jump into content is at the beginning when people are learning. Late in a Season or x-pac is when players have obnoxious requirements like you mention.

Fear of rejection or Social Anxiety isn’t something a game dev can really plan around since those are personal issues.

I would be perfectly fine with this idea. For the most post I’ve really notice much difference in the two difficulty levels.

I agree which is why Blizz needs to do a deep dive into end game gearing in DF.

Can I just say I love your name!

why? is that the way you want to dilute the community?

And how many minutes will there be screams for nerfs?

Start your own raid. Take everyone who applies. Clear Vigilant Guardian and Skolex but wipe on Halondrus 2x and have the raid fall apart. Relist and get people who want gear from Halondrus who will carry you and so on and on until you clear Jailer.

this is how I did it.

Believe me, if you had to run a pug raid where you were keen to keep the guy with 20k dps who was getting annoyed about the idiot who refused to stack / spread when told to, you’d get standards too in a hurry. It’s not obnoxious it’s just necessity.

some despicable toolbags will actually use disabled people as a shield and say that not nerfing the content is ableist.

You’re right. There are too many players raiding who don’t deserve access. Remove those players from the game so you can feel epic again!

And then there are those who say they heard of a disabled guy who managed to raid, so being disabled is no excuse for not doing mythic raiding.

Excuse me, I mistook you for someone who wasn’t using the existence of disabilities as an excuse for being a failure as a human being.

At this point you should just delete lfr and make normal queable in wings.

If you choose to pug, leaders will ask for ridiculous requirements. If you join a guild/community team, the requirements in terms of character progress will in general be much lower.

More like get more people intoo normal for things like this. Normal is basically just as irrelevant as lfr. May aswell remove lfr and make normal the base lvl for raiding.
