Why does LFR open a week after everything else? This is not a troll post and it’s not a big deal not complaining just genuinely curious why this is.
Must be to promote normal raids as the first tier? Or something else?
And before someone says just do normal you won’t have to worry about it. It’s not about that but I work rotating shifts and don’t have a fixed schedule every week so I’m stuck with mostly queueable content when my schedule allows
LFR is too easy to get good items to go into normal and up, particularly for the world first players
Each difficulty has its own World First though.
to avoid having RWF farm tier in LFR like in Dragon Soul.

My two guesses would be either; everything caters to RWF group from tuning to timing or so they can get casual players to sub longer by having to wait for each wing to come out.
And as far as tier the first wing doesn’t even drop any, so that’s not a reason to delay it.
Blizzard LOVES making special snowflakes feel special. So they let the .5% mythic raiders do it first. Then the unwashed peeons.
Join a guild, i found a welcoming group and we are starting normal this week 
Its ok to be a solo player but dont expect the game to cater to you, this is an mmorpg after all!
Guess you didn’t read my whole post I spoke to this. Hard to find 9 others on the same rotating shift I’m on. But that’s a me problem just wondering about the delay is all
This is done to time gate players, there is no other reason.

The name was a joke and people take it way to seriously. Members of Elitsest Jerks were some of the nicest pkayers ive known and their websites during vanilia helped me and my brother play better and more understnad the game and how it worked.
Players from Elitest Jerks made lvl 1 alts to help tutor my brother and I (mage and priest respectively) and answered all our noob questions. Some tatics ive learned from them i carry on today.
Time gate to reflect a group working through progression.
Say a family guild workong through mught only get a few down this week, LFR staggered is supposed to reflect that sort of slow prog through the riad. As we get more wings, its like we are slowly getting further and further into the raid till the last wing is released and we defeat the big boss.
Funny enough, this is the exact reason why I quit after Castle Nathria. I wasn’t about to wait another 2 months for a complete raid while everyone else already cleared it week 1.
Wing 1 of LFR should open with Normal/Heroic/etc
From there it should be a new wing every week…
tl:dr Just let people play the dang game how they want without time gates.
I’m going to be overly blunt here. It’s just another garbage form of time gating that this game and (dev team) is just so hell bent on throwing at people. It doesn’t need to be like this other than for some epeen that doesn’t matter.
LFR needs to drop the same day as everything else. It needs to include EVERY wing and boss. They need to stop with the time gate after time gate, after friggin time gate…time gating is not good content and it sure as friedrice doesn’t make me wanna keep playing. (it’s one of the reasons I kept dipping out in Systemlands) It’s just not fun.
I’m 4/8 in normal right now. DO I care if LFR goes past me? No as I get better gear. The only people who care about it are epeen flashers, sweats, and the literal smallest fraction of the playerbase in the game (so no one). People seem to forget that WoW became what it is because of it’s casual attitude towards things in the beginning, as there’s a reason EQ sucked and everyone came over here instead…the community and devs have clearly forgotten this.
Talk about anger issues, wow.
They already farm normal and heroic. Pretty much instantly.
Obviously it’s not to prevent farming.
LFR should release early
Its always been that way since it was put into the game back during Cata…come now your not use to that…its been like this since Nov 2011…11 yrs now…it all started with Raid Dragon Soul.
Dragon Soul was released week one with the other difficulties.
Also “it’s always been this way” is not a good argument for not improving things.
