I bought Shadowlands and I’m level 60. If I go to the dungeon finder interface and try to click raid finder, it’s grayed-out and says the feature unlocks at max level. If I go through Adventure Guide I can then queue for 4 raids, but after 50 minutes I never find a group for all 4.
I’m guessing LFR is only available for the latest xpac because the ilvl requirement(?) would only have viable gear at the xpac level cap? Is it possible to LFR for the non-current xpac?

Damn didnt know you can only buy SL , i though that DF is the only option… but yea no one is doing 60 LFR everyone is doing max lvl LFR
If you just buy gametime/ a sub, you will get SL, be able to lvl to 60, and all the older expacs.
But yes, LFR is only for the current expac, and most people won’t be doing SL stuff anyway.
Yeah, so when the next expac comes out, DF will be included in the game time/sub only purchases.
Thats actually not a bad deal
Yeah, for people who are more casual and don’t care about seasonal stuff, or people who can’t buy the expac for whatever reason, it’s not bad at all.
The game time/sub also gets you access to classic, classic hard core, and wrath classic.

People still do SL’s raids for mog runs. Just tag along for the mog run when it pops in the looking for group. Click one of the things for SL’s raids.
I mean he can wait for Christmas sale and get the game for like $25
People who had purchased the previous expansion and continued a sub used to be able to queue for LFR in that expansion. They used to keep tank or heal characters that they could use to help their friends queue for leveling dungeons. That’s not a thing anymore.
Heck, people used to lock a character’s xp and park it at the previous expansion cap to do raids and queue for heroic dungeons when they were bored. They had twink guilds they did this in. That’s no longer possible. Blizzard has worked hard to eliminate player options of “what to do when I’m done with current content and bored”.
