So you are calling ME a liar!? I have MANY MANY time claimed ‘greed/transmog’ and NEVER EVER have received anything. You are calling me a liar! Then you mount into the ‘random’ mechanics of the winners. Someone, me, for as long as I have been playing would win something. I have NEVER! EVER! My guess in your ‘intention/investment’ in this forum is to push the corporate corruption all across the the world of lies.
Still not going to stop me from looting 441 boots when ive got 450 and youve got 428
i think the only feedback coming from it is negative.
What was your favorite fight from the last two wings this tier?
Yeah but with personal loot you guaranteed get 1-2 items a week. It just always worked that way in the past. With GL you lucky to see 1 item a month.
When are people going to learn.
Just roll need on everything that you can and just leave the raid instead of waiting around to worry about it. Nothing is going to change. Stop worrying about and it go about your business.
Nah, personal loot was always set as x amount of items as well, they change the number that drop and where the breakpoints are quite frequently. The bonus roll stuff though was just that, bonus rolls, and always ran in addition too. Honestly I wish they’d bring bonus rolls back, but we haven’t seen those since BfA.
Group Loot has the potential to be vastly superior in every way, I think Blizzard is just taking things way too slowly in this regard. Personal loot was bad for many of its own reasons, and group loot certainly has issues as well, but the fix isn’t going back to personal loot, it’s further honing group loot that’s the better solution
I had fun doing Igara in LFR. First time through (which was fairly early on) most of the players didn’t have a lot of info on the fights and no experience so many had died before the boss was killed. I was on my MW Monk and finally there was just me and the tank and a warlock and between us we finished off the boss. It was challenging and very close and there was much leaping around and drinking healing pots and almost running dry on mana but ultimately I probably had more fun doing that fight than many others.
Sometimes you just find fun in the weirdest of situations ![]()
Hyperbole is not your friend
RNG is RNG and will be applied to personal loot too
Once again, wildly incorrect. Flagged for trolling at this point.
IF what you say is true if the boss dropped 4 plate items and a sword for a tank spec and there was 1 tank the tank would win all 4 items.
that has NEVER happened.
You are just trolling - GOOD DAY MAM.
I’m not saying it would only drop stuff for one character, it would of course take the group dynamic into account, but the number of items that dropped was always static
With Personal, if you didn’t need it, (peeps would be whisping you alot) but if you didn’t or really wanted if for your TMog, you kept or did a ‘roll’ to give away, I did that a bunch! You don’t even have that possibility now. I can tell you I don’t anything for weeks! NOTHING. I really try to be fair, but, I don’t think others are? I don’t know. I HATE group loot, HATE IT, I have true animosity for it. I don’t care what anyone thinks because I would say (GL) it is way more propped against us than personal loot. Just My Opinion.
You can absolutely roll stuff off that you don’t want, it’s tradable for hours
You think the computer is an AI system capable of independent thought and analysis.
It is not. I assure you. It was created in the mid 2010s. AI is relatively cutting edge in 2023.
The system is simple, select winners, then generate loot. There is no need/rolls in the background. There may be a static amount of winners but it doesn’t take the boss loot and divide it out.
Your perfect system is operating under the assumption that the wow community will be funtional non meme non trolling adults. Which, it is not. The rational solution is back to personal loot.
You think devs are going to build out some complex AI LFR loot system that costs billions to make? Unlikely.
This sounds about right!
Those are all fair points, and I honestly have no further rebuttals. I hope you have a lovely night ![]()
No hyperbole. Scientific fact. If you participated in pretty much MOP thru Legion you would know this to be true. Built in bad luck protection was a thing back then eventually the game would just feel bad and give you loot every week.
Show me where someone is getting less than .5% chances at loot in LFR runs
Technically the bad luck protection system is the great vault.
Noted, but that boss is not in the last two wings, though…
