LFR needs some sort of pre-requisite to join

I used to do this with N’zoth. On average it would take 2 pulls of learning and than we would clear on pull 3. I think the worst was 5 pulls and that was a language barrier problem where I had to use google translate.

Moo!

3 pulls in LFR= unacceptable

300 pulls in heroic = acceptable

The requirement is 424 ilvl.

People also had their toons piloted through… it didn’t do anything.

Pretty good reason if you ask me.

Need to have completed 25+ mythic key, and have CE in raiding to join LFR.

CE raiders need the LFR xmogs too.

then you can just make your own, just add 5 scrubs to your mythic team and queue.

max level and certain gear level seem like pre requisites.

LFR Smolderon is funny. Newbies will never do the soak mechanic correctly nor is there a big punishment for failing it in LFR, so I just tell the raid prepull “stay out of the middle at all times unless the boss is there.”

Guess where puddles spawn the most?

It would help if the soak swirly didnt look exactly like the lava swirly. (also would help if people with heat wave would move away, but thats another story).

Totally not in the middle. :stuck_out_tongue:

This is the BS toxicity that made me quit in cata years ago. Was kingslayer tank in wotlk, took a two week break due to finals and came back to a raid that released while i was gone, watched videos then jumped in and got kicked because i screwed up a mechanic on my first attempt. STOP EXPECTING EVERYONE TO BE PERFECT.

LFR IS THE PREREQUISITE. Tanking in 5 mans isnt even close to the same as tanking raids. So even if a tank had experience doing dungeons mechanics like taunt swap, ads positioning for cleave, etc are ONLY available in multi tank content. SO NO there shouldnt be a prereq for the prereq.

I feel like most threads are more like this one, where elitists complain about the common people who shouldn’t be allowed to start raiding somewhere.

There is a requirement. 424 ilvl. Who really cares anyways…it’s lfr. The worst place to get gear and only the worst kinds of people actually do it.

Legit don’t know why people get so bent out of shape by people failing in lfr.

Place is for people who aren’t as skilled or don’t have the time to have a scheduled raid time. Or casual players that just want to see the content.

Leave them alone. Want to elitist jerk around em. Then go to normal heroic or mythic.

Man I remember people being so bad at interrupting and jumping in wildstar when it came out. They actually made a tutorial dungeon that directly taught you all of this straight up at lvl 10.

Guess what happened in this dungeons? People would fail the interrupt bosses and fail the jumping mechanics anyways.

People will only learn if they wanna learn. The ones that want to learn will quickly jump over to normal and heroic and then higher.

The rest of the knuckleheads will go to lfr

Yeah, LFR should be a chill place, but, well…

I think there’s only one boss that actually annoys me to wipe on, and that’s Larodar.

It’s so simple. Kill the adds. Healers heal said adds. But a lot of healers seem to forget the existence of the brambles for some reason. Every time the raid wipes to that bit specifically, I can’t help but let out an exhausted sigh.

If I’m playing my Ret pally, I’m usually stuck panic healing the brambles the first time around. The second time’s the charm though more often than not, so it’s whatever. Still annoying to me. lol

I miss Mists LFR difficulty still. Just look at Throne of Thunder in its entirety and tell me the current WoW team has made anything that cool recently? Every raid for numerous seasons has been boring and not very creative.

Notable exceptions: Eternal Palace probably and Castle Nathria more recently.
