At 2 stacks on Grimtotem, half the raid just quit
Tanks don’t seem to understand doing earth and ice together is a bad combo for add phase

It’s been open for less than 2 weeks. It will take time for folks to learn the fights.
At this point idk why they don’t just let you watch the cut scenes then roll on loot.
People just need to do mechanics. Or wait for carry DPS. Either one
“OMG I Can’t curb content that’s still new first try NERF IT BLIZZARD”
LFR needs nerf

2 stacks?
laughs in Garalon, Dururmu the Forgotten, General Nazgrim, Garrosh
And let me guess…the only form of “communication” has been finger pointing, blaming, bickering, and/or cursing amirite? No actual mechanical clarification or strategy discussion amirite?
Assuming I am, and I almost always am, you should try explaining what you think should happen and…dare I even to go there…kick people who aren’t working as part of the team.
Please no…
You really want to have the only queue content that could ever fail to get even easier? That really what you want?
Here I am trying to advocate casual players to be able to participate in some challenging content… and then we have people like you, who screw things up for the majority of people.
I wonder how long they’ll wait once the carry dps can’t win loot.
Wasn’t LFR originally supposed to be about experiencing the story and gaining some entry loot that sets a player up for Normal raiding? Mechanics should be minimal and non-consequential, as in one player doing a mistake doesn’t wipe the raid.
If the one person that messes up is the tank, that often will lead to a wipe.
Oh, it was not that bad
died in the maze all the time
I’ve brought that up in the “group loot waah waah” threads before too. They didn’t like it lol
There were players that claimed this once upon a time but WoD LFR determined that was a lie.
Isn’t determination technically a “nerf” ? If you keep at it, it will nerf itself in real-time.
LFR is for casuals without time to raid.
Just spent an hour in the 2nd wing to down 2 bosses(joined after 1st was already down)
Most group content at all difficulties have mechanics that one person can screw up. It is true that tanks have more responsibility than other roles in a majority of cases, but that’s a whole different topic.
The mechanics in LFR are already minimal. The Kurog Grimtotem fight has minimal mechanics, but that doesn’t mean it’s impossible to lose or impossible to put yourself in a rough position.
Again, LFR Wing 2 opened last week. If a tank only plays LFR then they have cleared the fight one time ever and this week would be the second time. For a lot of folks, this week will be the first time. People need time to learn how even simple mechanics work.
LFR is very much story mode, but story mode isn’t no-failure mode. Let people learn - I died 2 pulls in a row on the Eranog fight, and I died fighting the ice spider the first time, and on Dathea, and on Kurog. We learn from experience.
They gave up at 2 stacks? Yeesh… just keep pulling tanks will figure it out and det stacks will make it easier.
It’s for players who cannot schedule time to raid or who do not have a pre-made/guild group to raid with.
It’s not designed to be a Mythic+ 20 minute run.
