Nothing new, LFR is terrible but it makes it incredibly accessible and that is the point, it ultimately fulfills the goal.
Well, it’s a choice of players with bad skill but good character, or players with good skill but terrible character. And of course, there’s the jackpot of players with bad skill and terrible character.
Good players with good character? That can be a real dream when you manage to play with one.
That first time in with Heigan I couldn’t remember which fight it was. By the time I realized it, I was dead and laughing…hard. I don’t know. It brought back a lot of memories watching people die the same way they did back when the fights were current. I watched a group completely ignore some poor bastard getting carried off by a valkyr during Arthas; I started dps’ing it, then stopped, just to watch that dude fall…lmao…memories…
You do realize it’s been years since a lot of folks did that boss, right? Been about 100 bosses between now and Nax. I can’t remember everything.
The problem is that it is decades old mechanics of which I and most of the people who didn’t play back then have never done.

Buddy, I safety danced with the best of them back in Wrath and even I completely forgot the mechanics of the fight since I haven’t done it in over ten years.

Ill consider myself new enough to not know. I got all the mechanics after about 3 tries.

i had a few wipes when i did this, i didnt rage out like you are. we regrouped and beat it
TBF, you can look at my armoury and see I have the Safety Dance achievement when Naxx was current content and I completely forgot the Safety Dance
I did it last night, it took about 6 wipes and three wipes on third boss. By that time, 80% of the players had the mechanics down. It was a challenge, but group needs to stick with it.
Go in with your monk, druid or other mobile toon if possible. I was on my DK, and not very mobile, so my DPS suffered, but doable.

I totally forgot to get on the platform after finishing the dance phase and I used to lead raids in there, lol

Well to be fair, I bet a ton of players today have never actually did that fight. I mean it is Wrath after all, content from nearly 10 years ago. I do wish people would take a second and check out the in game guide to fights before hand, if they haven’t done it before.
I really wish LFR was more of a learning experience used to get people use to raiding and get them some experience. Make the mechanics really matter and add the buff if the continue to fail.

Heigan the Unclean is a mid tier boss in an older raid that people now currently go on to one shot, so of course they aren’t going to memorize and learn his mechanics.
besides i remember specifically bypassing the mechanic by standing on his platform so you never had to deal with the safety dance in the first place (maybe they patched that, idk).
I tried my best to help my team when I wasn’t dpsing I was trying to be the best DK healer I could be (Bandages) they just wasn’t enough to save them from mechanics.
