LFR is currently a failed concept - I for one haven’t done it (let me clarify this, I haven’t fully completed the whole place as in 12/12 Ive killed half the bosses) . I’ve tried to kill N’zoth and gave up after like 3 failed pulls because I’d already done it and just wanted to murder him again
LFR isnt even good for casuals currently - queue up, wait up to 50 minutes in some cases, get into a raid on the last boss, everyone wipes. Worst case scenario which is swear is becoming more and more common
The queues are a problem
The fights are a problem
The environment is a problem
it doesn’t really teach people any raid mechanics - It does give a rough outline of some fights
Most of it is just boring
I think LFR has failed and needs to be redesigned
I used to think it was a dumb idea but I think now it wouldn’t even suck to make raids have a story mode
it could accomplish way more by giving you the single player RP heavy instance of the raid, it could also tune mechanics that will be used in the raid to a single player
This also opens up the door way for turning into a single player activity
make it so you can do it with friends.
that’s like the only work around
but boy does this thing need a look at - part of me believes that the loot level is far to low, which makes normal the biggest problem because its hogging the ilvl slot - the same ilvl you get from dailies.

You can clear whole handfuls of bosses in Heroic in less time than trying to work with those LFR people on one boss.

Let’s add more AOE on the floor! That’s fun, right?

hell the amount of time it takes to get into lfr you could be into your second mythic, and if you have overgeared guild members carrying you through M0 you could almost have 3 done by the time that queue pops.

LFR failed when it came out back in cata. They need to remove all mechanics but also remove all loot so players can “Experience content”. Anything higher than this and you should be the one learning how to play your class and how the fights work.

It’s a player issue, the LFR is fine. Just most of the people there cannot walk and chew gum at the same time. Even if you give them a button saying “press for loot”, they’d screw it up.

Why hello LFR is bad #5854321?

I think at this point I’m not even saying the concept is bad, if this is the only way people get to experience content then the experience should at least be enjoyable

I kind of miss when LFR was a joke and didn’t even have any raid mechanics to really pay attention to. But on the flip side, it was boring and didn’t feel like a raid at all. At least this pushes people to just try out a Normal raid as it really isn’t much different at all, and on top of that you get better loot.

If you don’t like LFR why do you do it?

I don’t do it
because it is horrific to do and there is completely no reason to do it

That was the goal from several keyboard warriors here and wanna be elitists.
The current lfr gives nothing in return… in fact you lose gold from repairs, gained 0 real raid experience and the most important thing wasted possible hours of your life for a piece of loot that you can get better for much less hussle.

Honesty, not everyone gets to ride the pony, Not everyone deserves a participation trophy. if you cannot meet the bare minimum, you shouldn’t be there

Do you believe they should just abolish the whole system?
LFR didn’t fail, you and your inadequate group failed.
This lack of personal accountability is why LFR heroes need 10 stacks to kill N’zoth.

Nope. LFR is fine. It’s player issue.

They are not going to.
Unless there’s good looking set for transmog hunters LFR will decay in time, however they announced the return of tier sets at some point in shadowlands probably 9.2 so… it might be a thing again.
The only reason I queued up was to see if it was as crazy as people said it was
and it was as people had described
