LFR Dimensius "fix"

I feel like this is just going to make matters worse. Blizzard, you need to find a way to disable the portals, create another way to enter combat…

  • When any player engages Dimensius in Raid Finder difficulty, all other players in the immediate vicinity are now also transported to his location

It will probably increase the number of unexpected starts but decrease the overall number of wipes

I don’t understand why it has to automatically trigger him at all. Can’t it just throw everyone on the platform and wait for someone to hit him to start the fight?

Wowhead comments hit the nail on the head:

The trolling is people using the portals when not ready. This won’t fix anything except where people die.

So…your saying the trolls can now teleport everyone to there death easier thnx ! Not lol

100% agree with the suggestion.
If everyone is ported there’s a chance.

If only one person only ports there is a 100% guarantee everyone dies.

I think a lot of it has to do with the fact that both adds on either side the platform are literally 2 feet away from where players get teleported in and they attack on sight.

This lol.

Everyone is 100% dead if they don’t all port at the same time. This at least gets everyone’s attention while putting them on the proper platform.

Folks just won’t be satisfied until the fight is as easy as story mode I think.

Eh, I don’t feel that it needs to be nerfed. I don’t see there being any sort of solution to players in LFR not following mechanics if they don’t want to or simply aren’t capable of it.

What annoys me more is watching Blizzard say “See? We did a thing! We’re listening!”…when they really didn’t do much to help.

I don’t know what the solution is, or if there can even be one, without nerfing the entire fight into the ground. :man_shrugging: And I don’t necessarily want that.

Blizzard would probably be better off making these mechanics a bit more obvious visually. It’s all just…purple mixed with different shades of purple.

That’s kind of my biggest complaint about it right there. My largest struggle with the raid is getting through it without a migraine and that’s kind of been the theme of the entire expansion containing both LoU and Manaforge.

They are to me the most headache inducing raids from a visuals perspective that I’ve ever participated in. They flat out suck to look at. I’d say they were both intentionally painful to view with Manaforge being the worst.

Maybe I’m just getting old but the eye strain has been headache inducing in the last two raids. Outside of that not having issues.

Unfortunately no one else is ported until the first person lands, and you’re sent through the gates at normal speed. So there’s no time to down the adds and you all wipe anyway.

They could tweak it but as it stands the wipe experience is identical.

Considering multiple people said they had to look up guides for Story Mode, that bar might be too high for some of them as well lol.

I’m not surprised to find that kind of person exists. I’m just surprised to find they exist in such overwhelming numbers that heroic carries have enough of a market to be sold to as to make it worthwhile.
