LFR difficulty

Why is this so hard still? It’s 430 ilevel gear only but it’s way harder than M0s. It honestly needs higher DPS than I expected. Just doing it on an alt and we aren’t even 50% health down a boss that we kill on heroic in 1/2 the time.

LFR has always kind of needed players who typically raid higher tiers to be in the instance to carry the encounters.

I’d say that because of m+ there really is no incentive to get those players into LFR. The gear rewards are pretty lack luster relative to other sources, and the typical LFR experience is pretty irritating as well.

Outside of transmog there really is no reason to run it.

Casual claiming they don’t need High end players!
High end players Say fine!
Casual players crying for nerf…

When you trained badly a generation of bad behavior during x amount of time this is the result.

LFR should be about as hard as a M0-M3 imo. The fact that it’s harder makes no sense since the loot is similar.

The numbers required are not high at all. People just need to stop dying or being mind controlled on nzoth.

Yeah, sucks not having the same amount of people carrying you anymore, you actually have to hit buttons now.

The problem with LFR has never been with it being too difficult, it is with most the players doing the content. Some just afk and expect to be carried, others have no damn clue what they are doing and fail simple mechanics and then you have those that actually try and would be better off just trying to PUG a normal raid. I feel bad for the last group…

The reason lfr is harder is because you’re working with 29 other people instead of 4, you can’t choose those 29 people, so there’s bound to be both new people who do not know, and idiots who do not want to listen.

Another one…

LFR isn’t hard. If people want to AFK through story, then youtube is right over there.

If you want to experience the story, then you need to experience the challenge of defeating the last boss of the expansion. Why would such a being be so easy to defeat that you can just auto-attack them and win?

I understand the “casual players” side of it and that is all well and good… but casual doesn’t mean brain dead.

Imo the biggest issue with lfr is that it can’t decide what it wants to be.
Some bosses are almost un fail able without trying to fail and others require mechanics to be done (even if 2 people can do them all on Ghuun they still need to be done for example).

It sends mixed messages so people are confused. If it wants to be essentially an interactive cut scene then it needs to just do it and stick to it. If it wants to require some mechanics it should do so earlier in the raid too.

LFR should just be a story mode senario you do with OP NPC’s. It should just be solo content for those who don’t want to group raid. End of story.

That wouldn’t be a bad idea, although I would take out the loot in that case.

I was finally in a group today that was able to down Nzoth at 9 stacks - the group had one stack already when I joined. Having a good leader who does callouts and is patient helps a lot. Finding people familiar at all with the fight is pretty hard too, i guess everyone does it once and never returns, so you have to re explain everything a lot. Maybe they should change lfr to have some kind of intro video you have to watch while you’re in the queue.

Why? Its not as if the loot matters anyway?

More like “LfR lack of difficulty” amirite lads

its hard because mostly everyone is afk and wanted some welfare loots.

This is it in a nut shell. The effort is not worth the reward.

its also a raid so of course its gonna be harder than m0s, raids are always more difficult than dungeons.

If everyone participated bosses would die quicker in lfr. The amount of 8k andy’s is astounding. Whenever I see someone at 25k+ dps it warms my cold dead heart just a little.

I take it for what it is and just carry as much as I can because it could always be a kid or someone new or with a disability behind the screen. Nzoth is the only real issue boss I’ve encountered

Its hard because people are (says word that might be considered rude and against tos) uh… challenged. They don’t want to get better, they don’t care about getting better, and they just want a free ride cause its just a game bruh.
