I have a friend thinking of coming back do some LFR Awakened raids. Does anyone know the ilvl requirement needed for the character to do LFR Awakened?
Quick google told me 463
My lowest alt character was 452 and allowed it. Wish it would just say some where in game.

It typical does tell you if you don’t meet the req’t… if you do meet the req’t I guess the devs think you don’t care anymore and they hide it from the LFR UI.

Yeah know that. But my lowest of 452 meets the requirement so I don’t know. Friend was just wondering if he wanted to reactivate or not. *EDIT even took off all my gear put it in the bank and still let me Q no issues…you would think it would check to make sure you even currently have the gear needed…
Which LFR did you check? Because not all of them are awakened this week. Only vault of incarnate is awakened this week. So make sure to check that lfr and not arberus or amir.
The current one with the icon for Awakened Vault of the Incarnates. I even took off all my gear and checked bags putting it in the bank. Hoping it will tell me. Scary thing is I just learned you can Q with zero gear on you…

If the mobs in Awakened Raids scale with ilvl I feel it is going to be broken. Why even put on newer gear or any…just Q in with a bow on my hunter and works fine lol

Better hope their damage and heals scale. Other wise it will be utter chaos
It seems the min ilvl was hot fixed to require 463 now. I ran it last night on my hpriest at 453. And I also can’t upgrade s3 gear any longer

They should scale players up so they can run this content.

Yep. Ran it a few times on alts without issue last night, now all the sudden the requirements have been buffed to 463 ilevel. Thanks but no thanks Blizz, I’m good. Rather let my sub lapse than re-grind an inflated gear score just to do LFR for hours every week. Saved me 15 bucks I guess.

I ran the awakened raids on two different characters yesterday/earlier today before they “fixed” the ilvl requirement. Both are lfr characters with ilvl of 450 or lower. Both are healers, and even though I am at “just” 450 or less, I managed to be consistently near the top of the healing charts. I was not a drag on the raid. Nobody died (unless they kept standing in the stuff that hurts).
But since we can no longer upgrade S3 gear and since the requirement has now been raised to 463, I am pretty much locked out of all the fun. This is silly. I’m extremely frustrated right now.

Small consolation, it does look like the loot table for Amirdrassil has been updated to drop a S4 gear token on some bosses on LFR. Also current TW 5mans drops 467 Adventurer gear
they changed that today to ilvl 463 - probably should go down though

It was bugged yesterday to have a minimum of ~370, which has since been fixed. It is now 463 as it was supposed to be all along.
Nope Again. MY 464 level Pally can’t enter awakened raids.
that is odd - all my characters who were equipped less than that but had bag ilvl over 463 were able. I wonder if this last wing is different since I haven’t been able to do yet.
