Can we like do something to let players unlock these in other ways?
I’m not allowed to roll on 4 tier pieces cuz I have higher ilvl versions of them, so I’d basically have to make a 2nd of the same class to actually get the set which seems really stupid
Just come back next expansion and farm them up easily 
This makes sense. Why not just let us be able to set raid difficulty to raid finder?
Just like you can farm up SL LFR appearances easily in this xpac

I can already kill normal SL raid bosses so by the end of the expansion it’ll be a faceroll.
Now do the ones that require multiple people
Takes a minimum of 2, but usually 3 in order to solo LFR
Right now I am working on the Legion sets, I still can’t do BFA ones
Maybe certain bosses but I can solo the vast majority of BFA bosses. I’ll have to try to LFR ones, as they’ll be even easier than normal mode.
I just don’t understand how the answer to “blizzard made it impossible for your to get this pieces without making an alt” is to wait 2 years and gradually do it next xpac

Can’t you just roll on non-tier LFR loot for those slots, then convert them in the catalyst to get the tint you want?
Granted it’ll take forever at 1 charge per week…
A poor decision to make them locked. Transmog is an encouraging reason to play that mode.
It’d sure be nice to unlock the LFR appearance without ever being forced into LFR. In s3-4 of Shadowlands we could throw pieces into the Catalyst and get them that way, so hopefully they do that again.
It sounds like you need to join the rabble bandwagon with the rest of us to make Blizzard fix retro raid scaling and mechanics so that they’re easily soloable again! Welcome to the meeting, we have bagels and coffee!
For the record, though, I do think having a way to unlock appearances (for ANY difficulty) without having to slog through that content would be neat. Trading post? Tokens of some kind after the raid isn’t current anymore? Cool beans make it happen!
To be fair I’ve had issues with the previous xpac soloing since they broke it
I could do BC in wrath, could do wrath in cata, and could do cata in MoP, etc
Then they did stat squish and now it takes like at least 2 xpacs (or end of the next if they go insane with scaling) to do some of it
You can already solo some SL raid bosses, as we are only in the first tier of Dragonflight…

Being able to do 1/2 bosses means nothing
i’d rather someone that actually needs the piece get it over someone that already has better. 
I rather be allowed to roll on loot in fights I participate in then have the option taken from me.
I do need the piece to complete my transmog, I did the fight and now I’m denied loot
Seems like a stupid change considering I could do LFR for transmog the past several xpacs and now I cant anymore
