Will people need the Reshi Wraps cloak to enter LFR?

While the cloak is easy to get, I won’t lie I kinda wanna see half the LFR team get atomized on the first boss.

Think raidfinder nzoth required the legendary cloak to avoid the mindcontrol in raidfinder for a bit, but you could queue for him without it; id say itll be similar and probably wont be required to queue for raidfinder but if you dont have it you just cant do the mechanics that require it and are likely to get kicked.
Luckily its like a minute tops to get the cloak across alts once youve done the storyline once so it shouldnt be much of a problem unless youre just allergic to story content.

It should definitely be required for the phasing options it provides to avoid mechanics, or do them in the least. And remember it helps us avoid being torn apart to void damage if you aren’t wearing it (so anyone not wearing it should lose massive health over time until they die).

Getting the cloak is easy. The real question is will people actually press the button to go through the walls? I remember Durumu in LFR turning your raid team into a 5 man dungeon team.
They should not allow queing of you don’t have the cloak. Treat it the same as the item level requirement.
What do you plan on using, since there are no other cloaks this season? LOL

I mine up to 701 and I’m gonna upgrade it further before I enter the raid.

completely the opposite. you need the legendary cloak in your bags to even see the N’zoth wing on the raid finder NPC.
Think it was at launch cause i remember a whole bunch of posts about half the raid instantly becomming mindcontrolled cause people didnt want to do the questline on their alts.
They might have fixed it later but for awhile you didnt need it, you just got turned hostile on pull. They might be prepared for it this time and require it to queue though if they did fix it later for nzoth.
I yearn for the return of cloak-less players immediately getting mind-controlled on LFR N’zoth.
I fear my Tuesday raid team hasn’t been attentive when it comes to knowing it’s required to enter.
Doubtful, but it is a 701 Artifact cloak. Someone would be dumb to not already be wearing it, even on active alts.

Then you might want to inform them that they need to actually be ready for the start of the new season. That includes getting the cape. Hopefully at rank 3 with an epic fiber.

Wowhead seems to imply yes…
The Manaforge Omega Raid is still the same raid when choosing LFR as the difficulty level, so I would guess the cloak is required on all difficulties.
