that’s original . Good job.
Then why even have the content? There should be a Warcraft Raids game for you guys.
U. R. Correct. And a rose by any other name…
Where you able to determine which i was referring to in my comment? When i use lfd i am using it because i am looking for a group. Amd when i use lfg i use it because i looking for more to run a dungeon.
And i refuse to speak to ppl unless i am using the lfd tool. Which is a lot less because without a lfd tool, i am spending most of my time alone wishing i could group up and play with other players quicker
Same thing with pvp. I wish they would take away the bg lfd tool so we could all stand around and wish we could play with other players. Lfd. Lfg. Lfyourmom.
Why have it? Because it was relevent at launch.
Your question makes as much sense as someone asking why even make a new expansion because there is all if the old content still
They should make a leveling game with no end game content for you guys. You just level to max then start over. Maybe give you prestige levels so you can show off to each other hiw many times u have done the same sht over and over and over and over
How many times will you read this post? Have you gone back and read all of the posts ? You need to start with the old classic forum first, then you can come to the tbc Classic forum and start from the beginning. And if you post on a different character then you have to start all over again.
The real answer though is for the ppl that want to relevel with an alt ir just start iver or whatever reason they have that they would enjoy playing in the old content. They want it. Probably just as much as the ppl that want to get to the new content. Which is most of the people.
A lot if ppl came back to tbc expansion because they wanted to play the tbc content. They didnt want to level in elwynn forest. Ita not a hard thing to underatand.
Thanks guys, I didn’t know LFG was on the way. Case closed. Also thanks for the janky and overly obvious trolls. You guys are 2 out of 5 stars over here in TBC forums. Amateur lounge confirmed.
You are already getting a grouping tool soon, and guild vaults as well. I’m guessing with phase two.
TBC had a grouping tool, it was the original antiquated version of the matchmaking tool from retail. You could list your group there or look for a group and send a message to the poster. It didn’t not automatically form the group or portal you to the instance.
Exactly. These idiots just don’t get that.
LFD destroys the server community more than anything else out there.
I’m currently leveling a priest and have no problems finding a dungeon group within 30 mins. At least during peak times.
Now… i’d be all for an LFG tool, as long as it is server only and doesn’t have automatic matching. This used to exist in TBC days and just like the delay on P2, it’s a shame that it hasn’t been implemented yet.
LFG is inc in phase 2
I back the OP on this. People say the dungeon finder will ruin the servers? How is that? If people who want it are the minority then it shouldn’t affect the servers at all, right?
I started leveling a paladin to be a healer or tank and I find it quite difficult to find a group on my server at peak hours. If the LFG tool was in place I would just hope to find a group with others looking to do the same thing. What is SO wrong with that? People pay to play the game and they should at least be given the tools to do so. If you don’t want to use those tools then guess what? Don’t use them.
I have no problem with paid boosts because I would do it too if I thought I wouldn’t be missing out on some of the nuances of a class by doing that. Others might feel they aren’t missing much and more power to them. The fact is Blizzard makes it an option to choose. That option was not there before. So why not give us the option to level with other people across different servers who want to do the same?
And be civil and coordinate what you want with what the group wants and not be a total self centered dingbat makes you skilled at TBC, yes.
And the folks who have been playing for 16 years somehow don’t know not to back pedal or click?
Bad take my dude.
These dumbass liberals
You new to wow or just being facetious? Once the dungeon finder is in the game, you HAVE to use it, because finding pug groups becomes impossible otherwise.
NO to dungeon finder. LFG tool is cool though, looking forward to that.
I’m tired of people bashing on Backpedaling. There are three legitimate reasons to use it:
- Fire/void/aoe zones appearing at ye toes, and it’s a shorter/more efficient route by backing up with one key press, rather than strafe/turning’s two movements.
- Tanking adjustments
- Tauren leeway
Woah, that’s “achhtually” not true. A smart company knows to comes up with ideas to cultivate interest in the level up process. It wouldn’t cultivate or promote things that “fast-track” or de-value content. If every minute spent in old content at a lower level is wasted time, the company wasted everyone’s time.
You may be a meta slave if you actually believe that the old zones are a waste of time. According to that logic even early patches to new expansions are wastes of time, because “Everyone knows that the last patch is the best…The old players know it. The new players know it. And the game developers know it.”
I actually might think the last patch to be meaningless because the very next expansion will make that meaning-less. So only the new expansion is worth anything if you’re at the last patch, and only the last patch is worth anything if you are in the expansion…you see how you are chasing the moon?
Yeah it sure is. I’m sure putting fiery weapon enchant on a level 1 weapon is also cheating right? Just get off these forums bro, please, for everyone’s sake.
I am confused at just how exactly boosted characters will affect the LFG tool? I mean, that is the OP’s complaint, or so how I read it.
Boosted characters are only allowed ONE per BNet account. (copied/pasted from the Dark Portal Pass description on the BNet store online):
The Dark Portal Pass includes a Level-58 Character Boost, which will get a single character instantly ready to adventure in Outland.
Nowhere does it state anywhere that the LFG tool is limited to high level players. Not on the official Blizzard website, nor on Wowhead, Icy-Veins, etc.
You may be limited what you can post for at your current level, but that’s nothing new nor altered by an LFG tool.
As far as getting lower levels into dungeon groups pre-BC levels (vanilla dungeons)…you have to find friends, use the LFG addon that sorts the LFG channel, or otherwise get creative if you hate boosts so much. Those who did not want to venture into TBC had the choice to stay on Classic Era. Most people opted to continue on to TBC. And most Vanilla areas will look even more meager and barren once we reach the end of Phase 2 because people will have finished leveling their alts and will have 5 raids in TBC to choose from. I haven’t seen many guilds on Pagle raiding MC and BWL actively on top of Kara, Mag, and Gruul either (maybe that’s different for other realms).
Wrong. It was important at launch. At that time you are correct. After that they focus on where the players are. You have a small amount starting to level. The rest are at max level.
That is why when they continue to add new content they add stuff like new raids. Not new level 5 quests.
