Tried queing some 3s today cause the arena forums have told me to stop doing 2s if i want to avoid boosts. Fine. I tried again to get some 3s going. My first group hpala/warrior me. Comp looks good. Said hello. them? nothing. First team we face. RMP. oh this looks hard i say. them. nothing.
ok so what do you all wanna do vs this? them? once again not a word. gates open, mage / rogue open hard on my pala doesnt trinket doesnt bubble flops in about 2 seconds. match ends. pala rage DCs? i guess. warrior leaves soon after. here i am an hour later still LF 3s.
Welcome to Shadowlands PvP looks like. No one seems to be caring much anymore due to how things are it seems. You either get boosted or get rekt from the looks of it sadly.

This is super common in any team game (league, dota, wow, etc). People dont want to type (and will often flame you for “talking too much”). This is just a way for them to distance themselves from the game; they dont want to think about their play or try to improve, they just want to have an out for when they lose: “i wasnt in coms, X class is broken, game is bad” etc etc.
No flame and no disrespect, but you are literally “that guy” from LFG.
I definitely have times I’ll Q with lfg and people will either not want coms or say “let’s see how games go first” and then lose 2-3 games in a row (to overlaps or hoping someone else uses something that would be AVOIDABLE with coms) and then whine about the game or just leave w/out saying anything.
Those are just bad players and they’re bad for the community and THEY are part of the problem. Don’t be part of the problem.

You cannot in one sentence be upset that people dont communicate, and then say you don’t communicate.
The fact of the matter is that solo queue wont fix or change any of that. This sounds cringey, but if you dont want an experience like this, it starts with you.
I’ve had negative and positive experiences, but the vast majority of my positive ones are in coms, and the negatives are w/o voice. I’m sure everyone who plays the game feels the same way (overall).
no. i meant these people dont even use party chat at all. like just typing a super basic strat out so i know what were doing in general. ive gotten to 2400+ with ZERO comms. idk why your so angry bro relax.
Okay, but nothing you said or did in party chat would’ve really mattered in the game. Could they have been more polite? sure. But you saying “this looks hard” isn’t a conversation.
It’s the equivalent of creeping on someone’s facebook and saying “you’re beautiful” on their pictures. It’s not a conversation starter. It’s not anything that people can reply to. It’s barely an opinion.
What do you want them to say? “yep”? “nope”? If you wanna talk about a strat, then say “I’ll trinket petsac the first combust, what are you gonna do for the second?”. It’s an invitation for them to share their opinions.
This is especially important in 3s when overlaps (or lacks thereof) will absolutely lose you the game.
Hold up. Getting 2400 (2376 highest weekly finish) as a full gushing demon hunter in 2v2 in S4 of bfa is the equivalent of like 1600 now, so i definitely wouldn’t boast about that.

I’m not sure if this is just a big troll or some roundabout request for solo Q or what, but everything you’ve said here from your title to your posts suggests that YOU are losing games because YOU have difficulties communicating with others. That’s not on the game or the devs. It’s a personal problem.
