You make connections during the run when there is incentive to. Yes there are exceptions. That doesn’t mean the connections are the only reason to do things. However, without being able to make a group or connections with people to form groups, you don’t get to do grouped things. This isn’t difficult to comprehend, pal. This is getting a bit into left field here, I mean with the current retail tool they replaced RDF with, you just see people on a list, and you send them an invite. That’s not a whole lot of RPing or whatever it is we are going for here imo.

Right, because I would never criticize them allowing transfers (bad), allowing cross server battlegrounds from the start of classic (major reason faction balance was trash and megaservers were born), the initial introduction of battlegrounds in Vanilla (it was terrible, and removing things from the world was a horrible decision). Yeah, I’d never criticize the company ever. You’re insane.
If cross server PvP wasn’t a thing battlegrounds would be just as dead as low level dungeon content currently is.

That new change to open world drops in beta probably tanked the alt making drive for a few people.
Weeks of lfr, crap drop rates and soon ninja looting from group loot.
Ion knows how to cure alt addiction. Make it painful.
So dead PvP, and dead content prior to max level. Basically the game only has raiding…well dang, might as well take the rest of the game out too and remove quests lol.
