Why are you waiting around for queues if you’re not at max level? Just queue up and go level, and if you don’t find a group it doesn’t matter because unless you’re farming it efficiently it’s a waste of time anyway. This discussion is irrelevant.

I mean you guys can keep telling me that this doesn’t happen, or it takes forever but it just doesn’t. I’m sorry. I’m not going to sit here and make up some argument because I’m emotionally invested in some game system. I’m just telling you what happened with me while I was leveling, not even on a server that’s a “mega server”
Neither was the other stuff I just mentioned. You seem to lack the ability to read as you seem to ignore the vast majority of other stuff just mentioned.
People would be switching over to alts now, or sticking with the one toon. If you have a problem with RDF being for Heroic Wrath dungeons, then lets remove Heroic Wrath dungeons from being included for RDF, and keep it for every normal dungeon from 1-80. Problem solved!
I’m just confused by how you can confuse your need to inefficiently level with the game’s need to introduce RDF.

If groups took forever for me to find with LFG, then I would be saying that. I don’t care about making up something for the sake of the argument. 2 minutes max as a mage.
Maybe i’d like to just do dungeons and PvP in order to level? That’s what I did back when I started the game originally, as I started halfway through Wrath. You might consider dungeon spam boring but I like it a lot better than finding dorians locket off a dead pig for the umteenth time or looking for mankriks dead wife.
On eranikus there’s tons of people STILL doing dungeon exp farm groups.
It’s still not the same. With RDF you could basically get a group on the fly for anything at any point in the day or night. Might take 30 minutes as DPS but it’s better than not being able to do it at all at 2 am in the morning. Plus those dungeon farm groups kinda lock you in, because what if you don’t want to keep spamming it for 5 hours straight and would like to do one or two at a time and then take a break for a few minutes? Do that and your spots probably going to be filled and it’ll take forever to find a whole nother group that’s spamming. RDF just let you do it when you wanted to.
Takes literally hours in any content that’s not 68+

You’re right, I didn’t address all of your scenarios. I addressed the first one and figured you’d get the point, but again none of the rest of your scenarios shortened the lifespan of content.
You can advocate for RDF for only if you’d like, but then you’re not advocating for the very thing my statement was arguing against and this back and forth is irrelevant.

You can keep arguing this until you’re blue in the face, it doesn’t matter. I don’t care about this argument, i’m not invested in some game system. LFG works, I get into groups, doesn’t matter.
as long as the content is being completed I don’t really care.
I don’t think it’s boring. I always queue up for dungeons when I level. Sometimes it takes a while, and some dungeons like SM or ZF are pretty quick to find groups. I just don’t cry about my experiences on the forums.

That’s cool and stuff, but this is litterally the place that was created to do just that. A forum is a place where discussions on an issue or topic is conducted. The word itself was used long before the internet existed. The romans held forums.
The statement I made and all of these follow up responses was a direct retort of someone claiming RDF would help with level 80 content as well.
RDF shortens content by allowing people to spam heroics without a daily lockout. This allows people to just make a 5 man, get into discord, and spam RDF until they get the emblems they need. If you’re instantly teleporting into the dungeon, you’re also saving a lot of time making it even easier to farm these emblems.
That’s not healthy in the long run. Some people argue for RDF for leveling content, but that’s not relevant to the original statement I made.
It’s not for 90% of the game. In the near future it will become infinitely harder to get into groups as a fresh 80.

I don’t care for blizzard in the slightest. I just play their game. Don’t get confused by the fact that I just don’t think it’s needed in the game.
