LFD (No teleport, No xrealm)

I don’t play Retail (or never really have at any real capacity) so i don’t know the difference.

really all i want is a group finder, that is not cross realm, that does not teleport. how they want to implement it is up to them, but something like that would be nice.

Yeah, it’s just a UI that helps you find groups for content, which includes raids, dungeons, pvp, and quests. It has a search function as well. So you could type “Setthek Halls” and the normal and heroic version would pop up. You select one, then you can see all the groups looking for more for Setthek Halls. You apply to one needing your role (tank, dps, or healer) or you can start your own group and wait for others to apply.

You can do this as a partial group. Say you have a healing friend, you can start a LFG to get a tank and 2 dps.

It works really well, and it doesn’t teleport your or automate the grouping. The group leader has to invite people.

You can use the same tool for raids. I think will make pug raiding even easier to do in TBC.

And you would see there are people wanting it.

Grats.

Do you know what retails LFG tool is like?

My comment was on LFD. Not LFG. At this point I am not sure who you think my post was directed to, but I am much hoping we get the LFG Listing Tool like was in end of BC/Beginning of Wrath.

If they go with the LFG Tool it should be the one in retail which is far more functional.

Nooooo! No LFD. No automated systems. Gross.

I recall them speaking about that version in an interview. A highly functional listing system seems way more useful and probably has better report functions for the endless advertisements we know its going to be plagued with soon.

You are wasting your breath.

Classic tryhards do not know and do not care about the difference. It’s in retail, so it must be bad.
