- Like in Overwatch, people troll and grief & afk yes but You can place them on avoid list and report for sure (when you queue you don’t get those people in your match when you place them on AVOID list)

Yea, it’s a trash thing that happens. I have an older cousin who plays, loves the game but is pretty… not good. People will kick him out of groups constantly because he’s not keeping up with DPS or dying… a shame really that people are like that.
Why not teach him to get good?
He’s a 70 year old man and I’ve tried, it’s a massive work in progress and we aren’t on much at the same time. Teaching an old dog new tricks is tough lol.

But people are also extremely bad at the game.
What is a joke to me, is an actual challenge to people. Why can’t a group be composed of 5 players around the same skill level as your cousin?
Man, the WOW community is just so sad and it’s such a massive L on their part to act this way. It’s LFD, there is no skill measurement for it, just egos from the players who probably aren’t nearly as good as they think they are… it gives me second hand embarrassment to see people act like that, I’ll vote kick an AFK… but to kick someone who is trying and not doing well is cringe.

But the group might be collectively bad enough that the worst player gets the boot instead of outright carried. And there is skill measurement for LFD, the mobs will kill you if you are bad enough.
Or he’s the one everyone notices that he’s actually not here for half the instance due to time spent dead.
They are no better the elitest chumps who kick for the same reason… again, there is no skill measurement, no ELO, rating, anything for it.

But there is skill required to succeed in the content.
And he might be so far below it, that he’s unable to succeed (were the others of the same skill level as him.)
Just because Blizzard doesn’t require a rating to queue, doesn’t mean the mobs will fall over if you just show up.
Why are you defending this notion that someone deserves to be carried (which might be beyond the group’s capacity?)

this game has the most delusional playerbase of any i’ve ever seen except league of legends
everyone pretends they are a gold parsing mythic raider who wants to kick for sub-97th percentile performance in a timewalking dungeon but they also can’t manage to interrupt a mob with their off-gcd abilities, it’s hilarious. hell just look at your average elitist in the mop forums pretending they’re better than casuals because they spent bronze upgrading their gear
