LFD dungeons now have a hard set timer of 15 minutes that cannot be bypassed

The cynicism in me is screaming that they quietly implemented this to increase MAUs overall. I know how dumb this sounds- I swear, I do- but I’m personally so frustrated by this seemingly-random alteration that I can only assume it’s an act of intentional sabotage. Forgive me.

That change seems ineffective. It’s not going to make people slow down, it’s going to make them wait more between dungeons.

Thereby keeping to being logged in at a longer interval than it would take to normally clear them and repeat for whatever activity they’re queueing for (weekly, leveling, etc.)

No impact to me.

I very rarely run instanced content. I never run back to back. I can only stand to do maybe one or two a week.

Having said that, I know that there are people that like to speed run. Bummer. Blizzard is going to do what Blizzard is going to do. Even when Blizzard turns the knob and whacks something I like[1], I just… move along.

People are intermittently able to requeue normally. Mostly not, but I’ve heard it enough that it’s almost definitely a bug. It wouldn’t be going in and out like that if it were an intentional change.

Knowing Blizzard I am leaning the other way, it was an intentional change that is bugging out and letting people re-queue faster than 15 minutes.

I would suggest patience as they probably tried to put in some new kick rule set and fudged it up and instead of saying anything, they will do what they always do…

Wait until they patch it, wreck it worse, hotfix that, then nerf it, then hotfix it again, then mr. K blue guy will post letting us know they eventually got it working how they wanted, and thanks for our patience and understanding.

This is what happens when you listen to anti-queue elitists.

And it’s going to get worse.
