Any useful macros to share? I have a sap macro but was wondering if there are any macros that incorporate shadow dance or other offensive abilities. Trying to free up some key bind space.
the only macro i use on my rogue is a Tricks of the trade macro so it auto casts it on my focus target (tank) instead of having to click who it is

/s Redirecting Threat To Tank
(get rid of the /s redirecting Threat To Tank part if you dont want your charecter to say stuff)
#showtooltip “insert spell name you want to see tooltip of when hovering”

/cast Symbol of Death
/use “insert on use trinket name”
Is the main one i found to free up space , others i use are for mouseover or to target focus target without selecting them. So they don’t actually free up space , they add more keybinds >.<

Yeah there have been some cast sequences I’ve found on YouTube that I been playing around with but I mostly use a spammable sap macro and just have one made for each stun, blind, kick and shadow step. They are mostly just modifiers so like shadow step is S, the macro would make it so the shift modifier would be shadow step to my focus target along with a step/kick macro. I also like to have the timer go off when using cheapshot or Kidney shot so I can keep an eye on the DR and then just shift modifier to use it on a focused target.
The cast sequence one shot macros I’ve seen on YouTube seem really interesting and I’ve been playing around with cast sequences but I may need to change them around a bit as one of them bugs out and doesn’t work if cold blood is on cool down for example but I just prefer doing the Rotation myself.
I ended up buying a razer naga over the holidays and I’d definitely recommend any of the 12 button mice whether it’s the Corsair one or any other brand as it really freed up some binds on the keyboard for arena targeting 1-3 along with focus arena 1-3 or even some of my cooldowns but the focus macros are the only ones I couldn’t live without for pvp.
You never want to macro blades to your dance macro. Its such a big CD you want to have full control over it.
I do have full control over it because i also have a dance macro without it …
Put your stealth and your kick on one button. It only works for a kick if your close to something, if not you stealth. It’s a fun button saver.
I have my stealth with my vanish. If I’m in combat I vanish if not I stealth. Wasted a few vanishes though when I wanted to stealth instead.
Well, instead of sharing my macros that apparently no one would make use of. Here is some information for stances!
[stance:0] / [nostance] is regular out of stealth.
[stance] is everything else.
[stance:1] is Stealth
[stance:2] is Subterfuge, Vanish, and Shadow Dance. If you are Night Fae, Soulshape and the 5s Sepsis buff also put you into this stance(You can’t use stealth attacks in Soulshape, though).
[stealth] is Stealth and Vanish.
[nostealth] is the others (out of stealth, Subterfuge, Shadow Dance).
So, when making a macro, just keep that in mind!
You’re never going to use blades and not dance though.
Youre not going to want to use blades on every dance.

I already have two dance binds. Having a separate bind isnt that much of an issue tbh
