Currently using a fiddio led keyboard but noticing my fingertips hurt from pressing 1234 etc when gaming. LF something super soft maybe even gel to sub with. If its led or gaming even better
Anything to make it soft and comfy for my fingertips to press with little effort as possible would be great
Not sure which model you’re using. One of them uses Black switches, which are the second-heaviest switch you can buy. They require 60 grams of actuation force (the amount needed to press the key).
Lighter switches, like red or silver, would be easier on your fingertips. Here’s a comparison chart:
Keep in mind that each switch color has different attributes. Some have a tactile bump you feel as the key travels down, some click, some don’t, etc. A lot of brands, like Razer and Corsair, also have proprietary switches. Sometimes they disclose the attributes like the chart, but they don’t always include the actuation force.
If you’re already using something with a lightweight switch, then I’m not sure what to recommend since most of the non-mechanical keys require high force too.
Oof, I never saw this reply. Did you buy something new? If not, you might consider anything with a membrane board, usually made of rubber. Otherwise just do a reddit search for “softest keyboard.” Lots of people out there want softer keys for specific reasons.
