At some point my profession macros got flaky, and now I can’t figure out one that works at all.
What I want is a simple slash command that opens, say, the Enchanting pane. Not the general Professions pane, but Enchanting specifically.
Going by first or second profession isn’t helpful to me because I have a lot of alts and their profession order differs.
The gathering professions are easy… /use Herbalism Journal works just fine, for instance.
/use Enchanting should also work. if it doesn’t, open the profession pane and the macro pane at the same time and shift-click on enchanting.
It doesn’t, sadly. And shift-clicking the “spell” on the profession pane to paste it to a macro isn’t working either.
Do you have an addon messing with things? /use Enchanting works on my enchanters, even just typing it into the chat box.
Drat. Okay, it seems like maybe it is an addon… but it’s not consistent about it, so finding out which one may be impossible. I suppose that’s why it’s been flaky as long as it has been.
