Which is the best Mouse for PvP?
Any MMO mouse with 12 buttons on the side.
I use a Razer Naga Pro, but there are cheaper variants which have similar features.
It’s all about personal preference. The 12 buttons on the side is too much to me. Too many buttons in too small of an area. I use the Logitech 502.
I use Logitech G600. The buttons are a little bit bigger and at a slant, making them easier to use. I would accidentally fire off multiple binds on a Razr Naga, I got a big thumb I guess.
love my razer naga pro because the scrool wheel moves side to side
this is huge for me and theres only very few models of mouse in this world that seem to have this feature
i love it
i was using a razer viper 8k, internally it has the best hardware on the market, but some of the worst software and after a year the rubber grips on the sides start to dissolve from finger oil and its feels gross to hold.
so i replaced it with a MCHOSE AX5, magnesium frame feels nice in your hand and no rubber grips to dissolve after only a year. doesn’t have the same internals so we’ll see if the right click lasts, but in general, avoid major brands like razer, steel series, and logitech, you can find much better hardware with less bloated software from smaller boutique gaming and esports brands.
Logitech g600
Logitech M650.
I can’t live without silent clicking anymore.
Ive never cared for this either. Super used to using shift, alt, and control so i still get 16 binds out of my basic mouse with 2 side buttons.
I still use them, now I have 36 buttons without moving my hands across a keyboard.
I also use a Razer Tartarus keypad, so in all, I think I have about 50 accessible buttons.
I like them, but I have long fingers and pressing the back row of the buttons can get gymnastic.
It’s easier if you learn to use the joint of your thumb rather than the tip, to press the back 6 buttons.
That’s not a bad idea.
which ever mouse you find yummy.
g502 x lightspeed
Like the g502s, just hated that clunky scroll wheel. The lightspeed wheel is much better imo.
I love my g502, I have like 4 of them.
12 button ones on the side are perfect. If you have small hands I dont recommend the corsair one its kinda big, other then that its nice with being able to move the buttons on the side forward or back.
Razer is pretty decent think they currently have the best 12 button mmo mouse on the market Razer naga v2pro its pricy though at 180$.
Red dragon has some good 12 button ones for cheaper off amazon, my gf got me one I used for a few years and enjoyed, think amazon also has some older model razer ones for sale as well for a cheaper price then the v2pro.
If you havent played with a 12 button please give it a try its a game changer for sure once you get used to it.
Excellent feedback, thank you !
Gotcha. some people aren’t comfortable with all 3 which really limits their options. I watched a cdew video back in MoP, so 2013ish, and fully switched to his setup at the time. he was leveraging 123, qwe, asd, and zxc with modifiers pretty heavily. basically arena 1 being the left most, arena 3 being the right most. i got super used to that programming and have never looked back. for example, my alt Q has been my primary CC (poly, clone or whatever) arena 1 for 10 years.
I can appreciate the mice with tons of buttons but it would be a major remapping of my brain lol. i just havent had a situation where i actually need more binds to push me into it.
Avoid Razer Naga except the really old ones like 8 years plus. I have 4 broken ones sitting in my closet, and 3 new in box because Geek Squad kept replacing them for free I had the warranty. All the same issue, either left click or right click stopped working. The one I have now I constantly have to take the side off with all the buttons and re-attach it over and over (the MMO button side) as one or several will just stop registering. I have used razer stuff since my Tarantula in 2005 but I will stop giving them money. Don’t know who is building their stuff these days. Which is sad because it fits my hand perfectly and I hate change that’s why I kept giving it another chance. My old Nagas actually still work from like 2014ish I had to bring them out of retirement when the new ones starting having issues.
