I work heaps these days so I hardly play, but I would like to roll a character on the classic RP realm Bloodsail Buccaneers.
I am looking for RP/PvE. I’d like a mixed bunch of casual and, uh, not sure what the word is for End Game RP. But people who spend a lot of time on it is what I mean.
I generally prefer Alliance RP in Houses/Clans/Guilds* type guilds.
*Guilds like “Mages’ Guild”, as literally in character an association formed around some purpose/function/pursuit/profession/whatever.
I have RP’d many characters. Long ago I started as a troll shaman and then an orc shaman. Then an orc Warlock. I actually mained Horde until late TBC. But in TBC I made a human warrior who would become my most played/RP’d character: Standhaft Garithos-Lionheart. I went back Horde a few times such as when I played a frost troll called Arctikus the Younger for a fair bit but then I went back to Alliance with a series of dwarf characters, but finally returned to playing my human warrior who had several reimaginings before reaching his quasi-final form and ending his story. Along the way my real life has developed more and more so I’ve become heaps more casual as well.
Not sure what character or even what faction I want to play.
Not sure what else to add either. I think maybe the last thing I will add is that I enjoy writing joint background stories. E.g. if someone has a House guild, creating a character who is a member of that House by birth (cousin, sibling, whatever) so that there is a natural foil and connection to start off. I have done this before with several characters.
Edit: should have said I tend to like grimdark stuff as well. I am a fan of Dawn of War. I like Scarlets and General Ripper and Admiral Taylor.
