There may be some confusion. You don’t trade the mount, you target another player and use it.

ive had a guildie lament they " traded " there gift mount only for the other dude to never gift the gift.
If there was an agreement made in-game where both parties would gift each other a mount, then your guildy should open a scam ticket. It won’t help them get the mount, but it’ll help teach the scammer a valuable lesson.
