I’ve played on RP realms, specifically MG and WRA I’d say 99% of the time I have played WoW. I really enjoy how lovely RP servers are and I myself love writing so RP is great, but… I find myself unwilling to try different race/class combos because I’m too caught up in the lore and RP. So! I want to try out a normal realm.
If anyone has suggestions for a highly populated alliance realm or balanced realm, I’d love to hear it! I play horde sometimes but I lean towards alliance mostly. Thanks!
I like Lightbringer. Don’t have any problem with people here. I don’t do anything special though like PVP, M+ or Raid or anything.

Honestly Proudmoore Alliance is my Alliance realm and it’s one of the main Alliance servers though smaller than Stormrage and I wanna say Sargeras? Idk it’s still top tier population, but it’s the community that wins the game for me hands down best community in game 
For Horde I’ve found Tichondrius to be the friendliest community 
same as above I think too, a big Horde realm but I’m sure there are bigger still A52 comes to mind, I almost went there but it’s east coast and idk I’m picky I like my times to match.

I’ve been eyeing proudmoore since a friend of mine actually plays on the alliance side there. She said it’s not too populated with alliance, more horde, but I’ve heard good things about the community like you said. Might give it a try!
Really? Def give it a try, Proudmoore is full and known for being a big Alliance server lol, the Horde side is very small maybe that’s what she meant? Or maybe phasing at times idk. I know if I have war mode on I see almost no one lol.
It is west coast tbh, so I know if people look specifically for a high population Alliance server they say Proudmoore, but if you just want a large server in general I think Stormrage gets most the recommendations 
but I’d definitely vouch for Proudmoore!

wowprogress shows Proudmoore as very much Alliance heavy. Its the third most Alliance populated realm with a huge population.
14,503 Alliance to 957 Horde.
Im sure in WM it shards with another more Horde populated realm.
