This seems like a massive oversight, one of the best runes for priests cannot be completed by priests. Its a rune quest for warlocks/mages/priests and the other 2 classes have ways to complete it with their skills/SOD unlocks. There is nothing priests can do to get these runes.
Can something be added to the game, like praying on the lines with 4 buffs or something so that we can spawn the mobs?
I main a lock, and felt pretty bad for priests so took them all along last night to get my backdraft. It’s pretty hilarious they have to depend on a mage or warlock to carry them.
I can’t imagine this is intentional. But then again I can.
I was just about to make a post about this too. As a pally I need a mage or warlock to carry me, that’s just ridiculous. This rune will be impossible for priest and pallys to get later on if they don’t change it
Gotta scum it up. go steal a horde doing it. or just tag off someone doing it. its what i ended up doing
Only good thing about this rune is it can be done in a raid. That’s how I got mine
Just a repeat of last phase needing a mage and rogue to do dispersion, thankfully that was shareable to skip past that BS.
Reminder to everyone here, this is why you kill any kind of priest that might be roaming about. Kill them before you start the event. They’re not there to watch.

Priest never needed that quest but the guides tell them they do. All u do is skip that part
Its really not that much easier for warlocks. We have to search for rifts throughout certain zones that despawn when another warlock uses it. Finally found a rift? Great! Now just send your imp in and wait an additional 20 minutes for it to return with a bag that only has a 14% chance to have the item needed. Now go do that 4 more times.
Meanwhile mages with a little bit of gold can just buy the scrolls off AH and decipher them and with a little bit of luck can get enough summons in about 10-15 minutes.
Honestly, wouldnt be too bad if we only needed 1 leyline for the rune but needing all 4 is just horrible design and needs changed fast.
You can do it yourself though? You can buy Scrolls of Spatial Mending from the AH. Google takes no effort.
That is purely for closing the fel portals. We do not get the item from the rift by closing it with the scroll. The item we need has a 14% drop chance, we need 4 of them, then we have to go to the leylines and use one to summon an elite. Please look up the rune acquisition guide before trying to “just google it” someone.
Spacial mending is for a different rune. The one’s needed for the leylines are BoP so we can’t.

Man have scrolls been skyrocketting more? Makes sense if some of the new entry slots people have been saying. I spent around 200g and charged people 4g and came out to just above positive due to some people tipping extra.
I imagine their goal is for you to get one, and find others to party with that also have one. Tho I do agree this is a bit over the top for a necessary-to-raid rune.
