Convince me I’m wrong.
This seems like bait.
Levitate is already a water walk and slow fall. I like it the way it is.
Make it not break on mounting up and I’ll be the headless horseman.
I’d be happy if it didn’t break on taking damage.
Demon hunters have a talent in their class tree that makes it so taking damage won’t cancel your Spectral Sight.
Now is not really much of a talent to begin with as I find it pretty difficult to justify spending a talent point in it.
But the point is that if Demon Hunters can withstand taking damage while still remaining to use Spectral Sight then surely Levitate can have an option to also not break on damage and also remain active while mounted.
If it can do both, then at least in PvP Battlegrounds it would find a lot of use and also allow more actual useful utility to be shared with other players.
I honestly like this idea, Monks can fly with there Zen…spell…thing? (I don’t play monk lol) make Levitate a flying spell
I’ve always lowkey wanted Priests to be able to sprout angel wings and fly (like you’re mounted).
All similar water walking effects break on damage.
Not sure if mages Slow Fall breaks on damage, but levitate is both, so that’s why it breaks.
None of them should at this point in the game. There was a reason before when they were powerful mobility options. Now, there are so many more mobility options that these effects breaking on damage feels outdated.
Is slow fall considered a mobility tool?
Sure, it is used for traversing height. But beyond that?
But I agree. Probably shouldn’t break on damage anymore.
It’s definitely a mobility tool in BGs.
