Its just no fun. Sorry but when my 46 ele shaman cast 3 chain lightnings, flame and frost shock, and 4 lava surges, and the pack of 2 mobs is still alive…I dont get it.
At 46 you have nearly your full kit. I’ve been playing shaman for years, its not a me thing. Full looms (chanted), crated epic gear, and a lego. This stuff should fall over when I blow it a kiss. Yet I’m having to go through full rotations and then some to kill a mob…I
Blah blah leveling is so quick. 40-50 feels like a slog to me. Been messin around with every class/spec, and it seems to be the same, the more you level the weaker you get.

I took my old 45 rogue bank alt out for a spin, and was surprised at how much damage I was taking, and how long it took to kill individual mobs. Was the same case for both assassination and combat, though combat felt a little more durable.
Kinda just went back to bank alt status.

u can level in resto , resto do more dps , look at tol tip 4 both of flame thing , resto do more dps

I leveled up as Resto as a DPSer in dungeons and with pet battles. 
The healers appreciated the extra healing totems I’d plop down before a pull.

Except healing 2/3rds of the dungeons is an absolute nightmare because they are randomly overtuned after the squish.
I tried to heal a Cata dungeon and a trash mob one shot a tank. He didn’t do anything wrong, seemed geared ok, just wiped off the map from a regular melee hit.

40-50 in CT is so much faster than 100-120 it’s not even funny

Wasn’t the general gripe that the regular game was too easy compared to classic?
Maybe you need better equipment?
Another possibility is that the mobs in question weren’t tuned down properly? I noticed that mobs in Draenor vary greatly in terms of strength depending on which zone you are in.

Some classes are worse off than others. I know for Ele shaman it was tediously bad while for warlock and hunter it is a joke from 1-50. For rogue I went up going Sub as it’s much faster than the other specs.
What killed it for me is getting progressively weaker as you level. I don’t know why the scaling is so bad but I don’t see how they couldn’t have made you feel stronger as you level. It’s discouraging to new players, tedious for veteran players, and ultimately one of the many reasons I recently unsubbed.

I leveled a sub rogue and was melting things easily with few buttons. Fast leveling as well.
Idk, I personally feel like looms take away from the RPG aspect of leveling because you ignore all the drops. Even epic upgrades, and even same-level raid content on heroic 25 man drops items that are no better than heirlooms.
If I had to change anything about leveling, it would be to get rid of heirlooms. I could not use them, and I probably will on my next toon… it’s just that… I have them, and so does everyone else… and I wanna compete and keep up.
I haven’t played every spec but I’m sure some are worse than others because nothing is balanced at low levels. I would have just leveled as a different spec honestly.
Took my hunter that was level 48 when the switch happened. Flew around BFA mining and fighting silvers and was level 50 in about an hour

chain lightning is absolute garbage without high end gear, even in low gear at 50 doing dungeons chain lightning is worse than just single targetting

I got 45-50 on my shadow priest. I couldn’t take on 6-7 mobs at a time, I was taking on 3 at most.
BUT I got 45-50 in a few hours.
I see no problem here.

If I’m headed off to adventure and a hero handed me gear I don’t think I’d replace it either lol

Pretty sure it’s elemental. Before prepatch it was very weak DPS like 4th in dungeons just above healer and that was loomed and enchanted
I feel the same way, it was like this from 110 to 120 too. Getting weaker as you go!
And when I’m doing a dungeon now and a level 16 can do significantly more dps than me at level 34, that doesn’t feel good D:

I will agree to this. 40-50 is longer than 1-40.
I don’t agree with this. I like that questing is a little more challenging now.

Umm… this is a good change.
I want to practice my rotation when questing… your time leveling should help you learn your class… not rush it to max and try and learn it then…
