Leveling up tabards?

My Wyrmrest Accord tabard only works in level 80 random dungeons. But my 87th level mage, with my highest rep, can’t que for for Wrath of the Lich King dungeons, higher dungeons (cata, and mists) don’t give rep when I use that tabbard, and soloing WotLK dungeons don’t give me rep. Is there any way to level up the tabard (so that it works in higher level dungeons)?

There only seems to be one Wyrmrest Accord repeatable quest, and it’s only giving me 345 rep per day, I’ve about 5,000 rep to go till exalted. Is there a quicker way?

The dungeons still give rep on Heroic (or at least they did a couple weeks ago). Have you tried running those?

level a toon to 120 and solo 80 level dungeons

I just checked - heroics still give full rep with the tabard.

Yes they do. I just hopped on a toon and entered The Old Kingdom solo on Heroic and it’s giving me rep. I am literally in the dungeon as I type this.

I can’t speak for the Accord tabard, but I know it works for some.

It’s how I got my Demon Hunter exalted with Silvermoon for her armor. Put on tabard; chain run dungeons.

The random dungeon finder tool was added at the end of WotLK. The tabards were created before then, they’ve never cared about how you enter a WotLK dungeon.

The tabards do change your rep, but the championing system works even if you walk into a WotLK dungeon.

The issue I’m having is that it’s not changing my rep. I did try heroics again tonight though and my rep is increasing. Doesn’t increase with non-heroics though.

With my tabard on, I only get the rep from heroic WotLK dungeons, and not standard (when I walk in by myself, not using LFG).
