Hello. Recently returned and I noticed that I have been leveling way too fast. This is exacerbated by the additional 25% increased experience due to me initially leveling 5 characters to 80 when the expansion first launched.
Is there a ‘Smell the Roses’ experience modification where we can reduce the experience rate by a certain percentage? I don’t want to completely turn off experience, but a modifiable reduction would be perfect.
The reason that I want this is so I can stay within the 10-60 (maybe 70 now?) range for a lot longer to enjoy the content and get achievements, do quests lines and knock out professions, without the content becoming trivial after that point.
Thanks.

Welcome back!
Sorry, but there isn’t.
I have often suggested there should be an optional one - something you can buy from a vendor and layer on to achieve whatever level of XP reduction you want over whatever time period you want.
You could make a Suggestion in-game in the Help/Support menu.
I imagine it would be not much used, but easy for the devs to implement. No reason not to have it available for the few who want it.
As you already know, you can turn your XP off and back on at the Experience Eliminator. But going back and forth every couple of levels is not a lot of fun.
I often recommend to newer players especially who want to see the whole game that they make multiple alts, and send each to a different expansion, but that is clearly not your problem.
Thanks a lot for the information. That’s a great idea. I’ll submit a suggestion. I can perhaps just turn it on and off. I didn’t think about that. It is more inconvenient and I want it to feel like a natural progression, but that’s as close as I can get.
