anyone else find it interesting they nerf afk leveling spots but can’t fix the game?

I noticed the first character I bring into the content is nice to take some time…but alts I just want to speed thru and start getting some gear.
Its just annoyingly slow that Im not bothering with alts much this time.

no because i have enough common sense and video game development knowledge to know this is just a strawman argument meant to bait. I like the slower leveling as much as i like this low effort attempt at a bait topic but i don’t expect blizzard with gutted QA and skeleton crew under microsoft to be able to do wide sweeping coding changes which would take a lot of time compared to nerfing easily fixed broken things an itern could do in an afternoon

microsoft is giving them all they need, including the ability to design the game they want to. they have seasoned game developers over there, this is unacceptable imo. It’s blizzard…is the quality really that low now?

Be more specific OP I have no idea what you’re talking about.
I think the leveling ranges should be expanded so that we could level in northrend up to level 80 if we wanted to.

Wait until 12.0.7. Looks like XP rewards will be up for a lot of activities per the current PTR.
All the goodies are at level cap.
Leveling is a tedious process we go through in order to “play the game”
It’s also telling that so many just don’t want to deal with it, but I won’t talk for others.
I only have one toon at cap, I’d normally have a handful.
Leveling sucks now tbh, especially coming from events like Remix and all the XP buffs TWW had at the end.

Leveling alts feels way too slow. I hope the next patch cuts it by 30%+.
I think an easy fix would be to increase the XP from each 90 you have from 5% to 8-10%.

I am at a point where I have my 5 alts at cap, one at 88 and one at 87. With a couple more like this one at 83/84.
It’s not so much the leveling anymore. It’s that it shifted the game for me. I log on to level and log off. I’m doing very specific quests and end game activities. Have basically cut delves, casual pvp, and any forays into LFR. I don’t gear my 90s and hardly play them.
I can’t imagine changing my behavior to not care about end game is really the desired result here.
Leveling is not “the game” for a lot of us. People have been saying this for years now.
It’s just our opinion of course, but leveling does not need to be this slow. Cut this crap by 50%.

Levelling takes 2-3 hours per alt, is that too long?

Endgame is way too grindy imo. I wish they would increase the amount of crests from mythic+ because getting a fresh character and seeing a cap of 800 is crazy

Leveling isn’t that bad.
You have the Delvers’ Call quests just like in TWW, you got the various weeklies, and herbalism is still good XP while rested, my Inscription/Herb is almost 89 and I’ve barely quested with him at all, just doing the weekly gathering KP and emptying his rested. He’ll be 90 next week I think, esp if I give him a push with a few WQs.
One of my tailors, I leveled by doing all the side-quests in Zul’aman (all of the ones that don’t require 90, should take her back there sometime to nab those for the achievement) and it didn’t take that long.
There’s still 3 other zones yet.
Also, I noticed that every delve you do for the first time gives you purple Player Experience instead of just the first delve in an entire day.
On alts who don’t need to do the campaign yes it does. You don’t need to be some spreadsheet genius to realise there’s a bunch of extremely efficient quests you should do and a bunch of extremely bad ones you shouldn’t.
