Lets try this again. Healing feels pretty good as a Shammy, so I’m looking to push to 50.
Which DPS spec should I use to do so?
Elemental. It uses the same gear that you do for healing, so you can just solo in Ele and do dungeons as Resto and not have to gear swap at all. Or just dungeon grind as Resto, that should work too.

Tinker with all 3. You might find something you really like with enh or ele.
Leveling was easy before and now it is just silly.
Personally I would go ele and just aoe grind all the kill x or obtain y quests.

Enhance is in the gutter atm, so I’d stay with ele and resto as they also share gear.
I’m lvling as resto and my dmg is insane. If the dmg of resto is slightly less than the dps specs it makes up for it by massive pulls and chain lightning /self healing .

I was just thinking the same thing. I’m 2-shotting most same-level mobs as Resto. Probably not intended, but I’m not going to complain.

Is leveling a shaman fun? They look weak as hell…
They are much better than before pre-patch, but they are still pretty weak. I’ve leveled every class to 50 now, and only Priest was worse.
Priest was worse? I just leveled Shadow Priest when the prepatch dropped and mine was melting face with the sweeping changes…
I leveled the priest just before prepatch. It was hell.
Im leveling an Enh right now. Just hit 35 and its been pretty bad ngl. Hunters can pull multiple packs of mobs and multishot spam them down but 2 mobs an enh? A struggle. Hoping it gets better at max. I’ve never really played shaman as they seem like the forgotten class.
Resto is best leveling spec. It hits like a truck and you can’t die. Elemental is 2nd best. Enhance is not good at all.
