Can i switch expansions with Chromie? I wanna mix/match…
I wanna level in 3 xpacs: BC/WOTL/MOP, so i’m wondering if i can hearth back to stormwind and switch at any time (chromie)? Thanks
Also, can you level in any zone in any xpac, or do you gotta go to each zone in order?
You can revisit Chromie anytime you want but it isn’t really necessary; once Chromie Time is active it’s active across all expansions, not just the one you initially picked. The one thing it might affect is which dungeons you can queue for.
There are still minimum levels for the zones in each expansion that increase in difficulty, so you can’t just go to any zone you want at level 10. For instance, in Outlands Hellfire Peninsula & Zangarmarsh can be done at level 10 but Terokkar Forest & Nagrand require level 15, Blade’s Edge requires level 20, and Shadowmoon Valley & Netherstorm require level 25. Wrath & MoP have a similar thing going on; you’ll want to look at the map for each continent to see which zones are safe for you to travel to as you level up.
