Please do not force players to level through Shadowlands. Make it so that levels 1-60 can be done in any pre-Dragonflight content, similar to 1-50 in pre-Shadowlands content right now.
New players will level in BfA and then go to DF.
That was already solved in the interviews

That is weird that they’re going to insist on new players going through BFA and not SL for their first experience.

Because SL is so convoluted and Alien from everything in Azeroth.
And I would assume, that DF will not really mention SL at all.

Battle for azeroth had amazing zones, great quests, and encapsulated the faction conflict.
Great for faction pride, and sets you on track for many of the allied races.
A pretty good introduction to wow.
Shadowlands was a chaotic mess that doesn’t teach new comers about azeroth, the factions, or the key players in the story.
I know which one I would want to play if I was new

Agreed. I’m not crazy about BfA but if I had to pick between that and SL, BfA would win every time.
