MoP leveling consists of 5 loooong levels where your only reward for leveling up is actually getting weaker due to stat scaling. It’s pretty terrible, if I’m being honest, even if the zones look nice.

I agree 100% half of the quests you do, you’re not even playing your character. You RP as a npc to “hear their story” which are some of the worst quests in any xpac I’ve played. “ Trim this bush, paint this canvas, feed the birds, till the ground, plant a seed, pull the roots.” What the f*** is all of this? I want to play my class not do chores. Also I think valley and jade forest are boring and ugly (my opinion). Everything is light green and brown. I am not tunnel visioned at all to getting to 90, im just not enjoying the leveling content at all besides dungeons.

This is why I didn’t play MoP Remix, because I knew MoP Classic would be coming soon.
I have a hard time questing… im too addicted to the world pvp to bother with it. Ive just been wpvping 24/7. Once everyone else im fighting is 90 i guess ill have to continue on lol

This is a preference thing. Everyone has their favorite pvp expansion. I feel like Wotlk, Cata, and MoP are the 3 most often regarded as the peak… but you’ll certainly find people who have a preference for WoD, Legion, TBC, whatever. I dont think there’s anything wrong with having a preferred PvP expansion, they all have a slightly different feel.
In MoP, you could just PvP for PvP, unlike legion where you had the whole artifact grind. Classes were mostly balanced and fun. Most would disagree with your take but thats fine, as it is all an opinion.

I had fun with assassination back in MoP. We had Dispatch and anticipation charges.

The problem with dungeons is the bonus xp doesn’t scale at all 85-90. You get 236k bonus xp for a random dungeon at 85, which is maybe two quests of XP. At 89 you still get 236k bonus, which is less than a single quest in Dread Wastes and you need 27.5m total.
Oh and it’s still laggy out in the world at least on some servers. If you roll or channel something you get locked into it 2x+ as long as you should. Other abilities are less laggy though.

I can tell you right now that unless there’s some significant exp buff or nerfs to exp in general (both extremely unlikely to happen) my will to make alts already decreased probably due the fact that I did mop alot already and completed mop remix back and forth. It is odd considering that I took several weeks off in advance for this I will have to see what will happen down the road but for now it’s looking extremely dicey for me.

The quest in Jade forest and valley of four winds I agree are terrible, bland and unfun. However, it gets 10x better when you get to Summit. Nothing will ever touch Wotlk zones though, these areas pale significantly compared to Grizzly hills or Storm peaks.

Wrath zones are way too grindy and zone way too big. I would Vashji i and the new thousand needles are best questing zones, this is from someone has loremaster><

I mean when are the quests fun and interesting ever?
No expansion had such good questing id wanna do it 100 times.
Biggest gripe is the sheer amount of xp needed and to me it was kinda overwhelming.

I was with you on WotLK having the best zones, even when I played Classic Wrath. But, coming back to MoP, I’m second guessing my position. The artwork of the overworld are insanely good and the attention to detail in the towns/instances are incredible. Love seeing the temples in the distance, or the great wall, or even Mount Neverest piercing the sky.

Im having a blast homie. No idea wth yer even complaining about. Stop hyper focusing on 90. Game’s got 2 YEARS… you got time to relax and breathe.
In fact, I started COMPLETELY over as a level 1 Panda Monk because Ive never played the race or the class. Now I get to do it all fresh… aint in NO hurry to run to raid ques and sit. Screw that.
Imma get 90, and do pet quests, and farmville and chat with the homies… meet new guildmates.
Im up 3 hours past my normal bedtime for the first time in YEARS because I am having an absolute blast.

i found only jade forest to be trash. the rest of the zones felt fine. Though townlong almost every mob has some sort of knockdown, stun, or knockback. Super annoying as a caster.
