I’m about to hit Ashenvale and Hillsbrad but I haven’t seen any Alliance yet.
Is this Normal?
Is this what mono faction means?
I just want some random world pvp action while questing.

Best option for WPVP in Classic right now is Anniversary
It exists in SoD but it’s just people globalling eachother. There is some fun to it but not much skill 90% of the time.
Cata regardless of being Mono-faction or not is going to be rough for finding balanced/organic WPVP experiences for reasons ranging from the playerbase almost all being max already, flying existing in every zone, and low level PVP becoming more a meme fest with every expac

the above plus many in the player base are probably 50+ (on alts) so at “midgame”.
PLus being honest even on the anniversary server ashenvale can be slow, even on the pve. We aren’t even dodging horde moving north lol.
its just not a nice quest area as you have to bounce out of it a lot. You can spend more time on the other continent really. Redridge or dark has more options. Sets up to STV.
Ashenvale has range gaps. 3 yellow quests done. Now all red. stone talon is not much better for nearby. So Back to SW area you go.
pretty much not much leveling blood right now and the only PvP realm is Grobbulus.
1 to 85 is pretty painful. People just buy boosts.
Also Faerlina is like 99.99% horde.

When I leveled, as Alliance on Faerlina, about a month after launch, I didn’t see any Horde until level 80 content and even then, outside of zones relevant for daily content it was sparse.
I don’t think there are many people actively playing through leveling quests in Cata Classic. Though, I didn’t have any trouble finding dungeon groups using RDF, while leveling and queuing as DPS only.
Faerlina does have a handful of active Alliance guilds, which gives it a small community feel, and the wpvp is pretty amazing, if you enjoy that, but outside of the lower faction of a massively disparate faction balanced PvP server, I don’t think you’ll run into much wpvp.
And even then, you pretty much have to go looking for it, and pretty much everybody is max level.
Almost all the alliance on Faerlina have transferred or started on another server. Blizzard screwed both the players and their selves by not implementing a creation balance on PvP servers.
Some people might think so. I like that there are options, and I think that Faerlina Alliance is one of the best current experiences for Cata Classic.
Of course, to each their own though…
