Is it common practice to use this timewalk to level? I saw two instances on my 120 where players booted people leveling say from legion upwards because they had no azerite/corruption gear, and had this happen my level 103 shaman as well? Mind you this was the random dungeon finder not a premade of course.
Perhaps I just got some bad people…
Yeah sounds like it. I enjoy leveling through Timewalking Dungeons.

TW is for anyone high enough to queue, and is extremely good exp for people leveling.
Kicking people who aren’t 120 is absurd, anyone looking for that kind of control should be doing premades.

Timewalking is great way to level. Whoever kicked those people are incredibly petty and/or lazy.

This isn’t common, I’ve done hundreds and hundreds of timewalking dungeons and have never seen someone booted JUST because of their level.
Its just a small group of bad people. I have done more TW dungeons that I care to admit during BfA and I don’t think I have see anyone else get kicked becuase they are not 120.
Wow, booted from a timewalking dungeon for not having corrupted gear? That’s really stupid. Leveling this way is super fast and easy. I just got my shaman from 110 to 120 today doing almost nothing but timewalking.
This wouldn’t have happened if TWing were still at their WoD level of scaling 
I find it weird when I suddenly see my groupmates taking things cautiously or just simply not knowing what to do .
I am like dude I face-rolled these back during MoP I AM PULLING EVERYTHING then a simple tab shows that they are low levels. Its slower but I am there just for a single run to get that 500 badge quest so its all cool .
Time walking gives insane experience, especially for 110-120. You get almost 1 level per dungeon. I got this DH from 111 to 120 tanking 10 time walking. It was pretty smooth with the gear scaling, and I know mop dungeon like the back of my hand.
Yes. I find questing to be fastest up once you hit 70, lasting up to 110. Once you hit 110/111 TW dungeons are the fastest from what I’ve found. If you can get 2 friends to carry you through island expeditions those are way faster.
I only level with timewalking (110+). Can’t stand bfa zones.

I’ve been leveling an alt monk (currently 100) through timewalking. And I haven’t been booted once.
It’s really good exp. You gain a level every 2 dungeons completed.
