To everyone that said it’s GOING to take several weeks for everyone to level…
Classic hasn’t even been out for a week and peoppe are already hitting 60.

It’s still going to take weeks or even months for most people to level. That doesn’t necessarily mean it’s difficult, but not everyone has 24 hours a day to play video games.
Does abusing the layering system count? There was no layering in Vanilla.
I am not trying to defend the levelers or classic; but remember they are leveling with 1.12 as their base game. Original launch is much different than 1.12. Either way; grinding through content that’s been around for 15 years shouldn’t take long anyways.
People say Tennis is a difficult game, but Djokovic has 16 grand slams…
When you get to 60 you post again. (If you do, cause chances you are just another BfA player pissed about Classic’s success)
Edit: and oh, just for perspective…
After only 4 hours and 17 minutes, Method’s Gingi managed to hit level 120 in Battle for Azeroth tonight.
lvling was never hard. It was tedious.
ya the people who are hitting 60 also have like, not slept at all since launch and have done this a million times
The vast majority of people are still getting wrecked by quilboars in the barrens
Or wrecked by queues.
I, too, judge the overall length of a game by how long it takes a speedrunner to do it.
This.
/10chars
And what level are you lol?
no one is 60…what are you talking about
queues are better now (and by better it’s like 5k vs 15k, lmao), but my RL friends that have 9-5s are like level 15 because they’ve barely been able to play
trust me, most people aren’t super far ahead. The 30+ zones that I’m in feel EMPTY
Definitely gonna take me weeks or months. And I’ve been putting in ~3 hours a day, which is plenty.
Some find it tedious I think it’s extremely relaxing. Leveling should be the meat of the game, not that end game jazz.
I won’t. I have a 13, a few 7s and a 6. Altholism is real.
Apparently their is one gnome out there that hit 60. Although he had the help of many people to abuse the layering system and I’m only guessing he had other people playing his account due to it doesn’t seem like a reasonable conclusion that someone stayed up for almost 4 days without any sleep.
To be fair, that gnome had two 7 hour breaks for sleep.
Extreme outliers do not count.
A lot of false information here.
-He didn’t play through it straight. He had 2 sleep breaks.
-He used layering from 58-60 after he already had the race in the bag. It’s worth mentioning asking people in your guild to invite you to a party to jump layers is not an exploit. Blizzard has never stated otherwise and similar systems are used on retail with cross realms.
-He joked his brother played his account… when he came back from sleeping he had not progressed at all in experience. So this was clearly meant to be a joke.
-Method literally broke TOS on stream with a guy who was paid to keep them from going afk by jumping their characters.
