Quick question while I am at work, but if you choose to level in SL through Chromie time, can you do threads of fate or do you have to do the story campaign ?
Do you pick a covenant right away and is Thorghast open ?

Which means you level through SL chromie time like you did the first time you were in SL ?
For me I had to level my alt through the traditional SL experience like when the expansion came out, and it wasn’t until I hit 60 that I could then activate threads of fate and skip the rest of the campaign + choose a convenant, etc. I found it very weird, but yeah that was the only way to just skip through the rest of SL on my alt last week. That being said, I only had to do like 2 of the zones (campaign quests only) and by the time I was on the 3rd I was 60, went to activate the skips, picked covenant so I could use my cosmetics and went on to DF.
real question is why would you level in SL…
Just do cata/classic and spam dungeons to 60. Went from 50-60 in like 3 hours or something. Leveling is broken right now, its stupid easy.
Problem is unless you are a tank, you’ll wait 4 hours in queue for those dungeons to pop.
for classic dungeons lol? its usually under like 7-8mins

Cata has some fun quests though. Go to Redridge Mountains and do the Rambo quest line.
That wears itself out after doing it the 5th or so since 2010.
I agree it can wear out, that would be so nice if they gave you access to WQ in all expansions and you could get gear and xp by spamming those, then do a dungeon, then do a questline…you know, variety.
Even chromie time doesn’t give much variety because WOD is so much faster than anything else, but when it’s your 5th alt…it gets tired quickly
