Trying to get to a high enough level to start raiding with my new clan, but i am not near where i need to be in level. Im lvl 47 atm and if anyone has an amazing method or way to level faster than running Random Dungeons all day im all ears.
With the changes this expansion to leveling, the fastest way to level is by questing.
Dungeons are only better experience per hour if you are doing quests in that dungeon. Once you are done with the quests, spamming dungeons is less xp/hour than questing.
Basically, quest and queue for dungeons once to do their quests and then back to questing.
If you need to break things up a bit you can always to some bgs for xp as well, but I personally don’t so I’m not sure how efficient bgs are in terms of xp.
Makes sence to me. Seen alot of quests for first time runs in dungeons, ill try BG to and see where that gets me. Thanks for the advice!
Level 1-15: questing starting areas only doing clusters of quests, don’t go way out there for one quest its a waste of time.
Level 15: queue for random dungeons while you do quest clusters
Level 20: turn on war mode and continue questing while you queue for dungeons
Level 40-45ish: Stop doing dungeons and just quest its much faster now.
Level 60-80: Queue for a random BC dungeon, then queue for a random WotLK dungeon, quest if you want to pass the time if there are long queue times. Alternating between each expansion will make it so you very rarely get a dungeon you havent done yet so you almost always have dungeon quests available combined with end of dungeon XP this is by far the fastest way to level from 60-80
Level 80-90: Jade Forest all the way. With war mode on you can easily get all 10 levels in Jade Forest, or you a can skip a quest hub and do a few quests at the start of another zone. By far the fastest way to level dungeons are not worth the time at all here.
Level 90-98: Use the fireplace skip on timeless isles to go straight to draenor. make your way from gorgrond to your garrison and complete your garrison building quests and start doing a few quests in your starting area. BUY POTIONS WITH RESOURCES AND DRINK THEM AT LEVEL 91+. You can easily buy these potions by the time you are 91 if you have the handynotes draenor addon that shows you all the treasures on your map.
If you have flying, you can literally just fly around draenor getting all the treasures. The zones have level limits even for looting treasures so you have to be optimal but if you do some starting zone questing its not hard to get to 98 in 2 or 3 hours.
Level 98: Go to your captial city and log off and log back on. Once you are logged back in a quest will be there for you to start the Legion expansion and go to Dalaran. Go there. Wait for another quest to appear and get your Artifact Weapon. Go back to Draenor and hit level 100.
IF YOU HAVE DRAENOR FLYING YOU PROBABLY DONT EVEN HAVE TO DO THIS IF YOU DONT WANT TO BUT ITS NOT A WASTE OF TIME BECAUSE YOU ARE GOING TO GET XP GETTING THE ARTIFACT WEAPON ANYWAY AND ITS A BIG UPGRADE.
Level 100: start at Stormheim if you ever want to do your balance of power quests because you need the rep from that zone anyway.
If it is a timewalking dungeon week, then timewalking dungeons are the best leveling xp from 100-110, maybe even all the way to 120.
Level 110: may as well start completing your bfa storylines for endgame content or do timewalking dungeons.
