My brother and I are pretty sold on the idea of Hunter/Hunter being pretty untouchable.
The only other thing I could think of better would be Hunter/mage.
If those comps, what do you guys think?
mage mage, but if the server is crowded, finding aoe spots is going to be hard. Getting into a dungeon cleave group might be fastest.

what’s the goal here? the problem for hunter/hunter is that it shares items with eachother and only deals damage for joining groups, realistically most classes have strong duos that don’t have these negatives
like hunter/priest or hunter/pala
id say a DPS/healer would be better combo to level fast

Just leveling up and having a super fun time. Maybe dipping our toes into the raiding scene at end game (it’s classic, it’s easy, we’ve done it plenty.)
We’re figuring Hunter/Hunter would probably be a nightmare to run up against in the world for most other duos.
Seems like ranking is a possibility this go round with the changes, so maybe we’ll look into that as well. As far as shared gear goes? /shrug
We are doing double shaman, mostly because we both wanted a 40% mount at level 20, and I think having tons of different totems down would be kind of cool. I did a little testing and I kind of like enhance for leveling.

Double hunter will get you camped, legit camped.
PVE? It literally does not matter what you roll as pve is potato face roll in classic.
Oh then. Double hunter is not so great you guys will literally be competing for the same gear, how does that sound fun?

Anything prob better than double hunter from a logical standpoint… If you dont’ care about gearing then yes double hunter leveling will be snooze fest.
Think so? I can’t think of much in the early levels that camps hunter, let alone two of them other than priests.
I guess warrior after 40 and there will be a lot of those.
Try hunter warlock. Now at that point none of you guy will fight for loot. Thats what me and my brother did lol =p

I’m back on feeling mage over Hunter for myself. There’s no talking him out of Hunter 
I just know Hunter/Hunter is probably the most insane duo combo for our playstyle…but the utility of mage later is so appealing. I’m sure mage/hunter would be an absolute blast to play too

u cant beat the warrior priest duo in classic
warrior/shaman is cool too , even warrior / pala but u will fight for some loot while leveling (at endgame is np since pala is going full heals)
hunter hunter u will fight for loot all the time
mage / hunter is nice free water/food (grab a pet that eat bread) , portals , and ofc mage CC (not that is needed)
doble mage and aoe the hell out of everything

hunter mage gives you food/water, your both using different gear and portals/aspect of the pack for travels

Hunter/feral druid would also be quite fast as they get cheetah form to run with you. And feline swiftness in cat form.
