Leveling Character Tips

I’m a casual player and just have fun doing quests, leveling fishing and cooking, trying to level my professions (some are a bit expensive to level though) and collecting mounts, pets, appearance armor and so forth. I do have one max level character that I play end content with. I don’t currently attempt max level dungeons or raids. I eventually want to do the dungeons but I’m not ready for those.

I have mainly horde characters, all classes and races and a range of levels.
I do have some alliance characters because I eventually want all races (allied and regular) and to experience the stories on both sides. Most of the alts I will level slowly.

I do however want to level one of each armor wearer to max level ASAP to open up appearance armor. Suggestions on quickly leveling? I’m questing at the moment on two but it is very slow. Should I just quest on the island expeditions?

I have a max level leather wearer, so no worries there.
I have a 110 cloth wearer (alliance warlock)
113 mail wearer (horde hunter)
I decided for plate that I would level a death knight (horde, she is in her 60’s now).

I do know to use the +exp heirloom armor. I did get an Apex Predator’s Claw ring for my hunter to use the +5 exp gem in the ring.

I read about using enchantments on heirlooms but most of the information I can find is scattered and often outdated. For example, some were suggesting that you use a high level character to apply the enchantment then mail it to your other characters. After looking at the enchantments listed on the auction house, I don’t think this will work anymore. They have restrictions that limit you to certain level armor and seem to soulbind the armor. Am I correct on that?

Tldr;
-Which enchantments can you put on the +exp heirloom armor?
-Suggestions on leveling my level 110 and 113 characters quickly?

When it comes to enchanting enchants, you can just send a scroll with the enchant and have them apply it. Some of the other profession enchants have a minimum level requirement to apply it, and those need to be done by a high level character. (Of course, the complication is that many enchants have a max level as well, so you have to find a character in just the right range to apply it.)

You can apply the enchants that will make an item soulbound to account bound items without losing the ability to mail them to alts.

The best advice I can give you for leveling 110+ characters is to get flying unlocked in BfA. That’s probably the biggest thing you can do to speed up the leveling process for your alts. It looks like you’ve done part 1, so you should be able to finish part 2 on your Demon Hunter in a week or two.

I will add that if your high level enchanter pulls a copy of the heirloom and enchants it, they can mail the copy, with the enchant on it, cross-realm and cross-faction.
Wether the enchant works or not depends upon the level of the character getting the heirloom.

The enchant itself scales down to the level of the character and increases as the character levels up to the max for the enchant.

If you upgrade the heirloom to a higher level on your collections tab, all copies held by characters are also upgraded while maintaining their enchants.

Thanks all! I am working on pathfinder 2 currently so that is a good point about flying.
