It does not even take a basic understanding of how silly this change to realize it is about selling boost. You spend MAYBE 1 or 2 days at 70 then get to 80.
Now we cannot be having that. I got a bunch of alts sitting at 50 that just became a pain to level. Also doing it after selling a more expensive version of the game for Early Access is just a complete PR disaster.
I pity anyone that farmed the pre patch event.
Does anyone know what this person is talking about?
Just more whining about the upcoming changes to level scaling.
Name a single reason they would nerf the experience you spend maybe 0.00001% of your time compared to the rest of the expansion.
There is zero logic to these changes.
Hard to do, considering they didn’t nerf experience.
Yes there is. They spell it out very clearly in the post where they announced the changes.
They didn’t nerf xp. They’re making mobs hit harder which was very much needed since they feel like they’re equipped with foam swords.

Do you really want to one shot everything on your way to 80?
TWW didn’t sell well at all. They’re in full recovery mode between this and the SOD announcement.
Because Blizzard’s developers are lazy and stupid and ignored all the beta feedback AGAIN.
You’re painting Machiavellian 4D chess strategies on what more resembles a troupe of circus clowns.
Paying level boost to skip brand new content is just ridiculous.
There is no level skip for brand new content, I don’t even know why this guy is saying what he is saying as the boostable leveling is faster than ever (without an event going), and they aren’t touching it
eh gonna be honest here this doesn’t seem lazy and stupid…this actually seems borderline malicious, as tho they’re punishing the people that didn’t buy EA…which i’m suddenly more glad i did buy that edition ngl lol
I don’t mind the leveling changes, I just think the timing is really bad.
Why wasn’t this observed in the beta? Why did they wait until Early Access was over?"
Also, I want to note that it felt easy, sure, but it never broke my immersion. I enjoyed the difficulty, personally. I’ve always wanted them to add overworld difficulty levels like Diablo had tho, so difficulty isn’t a deterrent.
It just feels like they are really bad at reading the room.
it was observed, and infact it’s something that if you think back to DF beta and their statements regarding tier sets and why they were being disabled something that there is absolutely no way they didn’t know was going to be a big issue
Most people didn’t buy EA and are already past the level 70 mark where the adjustment will be most noticeable.
and how many of those people have a whole horde of 80 alts like those of us that did buy EA do
The alts will get the XP %% increase from the achievement, increasing per character.
It will be fine.
If you bought EA, good for you. (I didn’t.)
There is an 80 boost? I gotta get on that!!
i’m half expecting it to be announced next week…i mean it probably won’t be but that would be legitimately hillarious
