Will patch 8.2 offer any more ways of leveling?

I have about 8 more alts and I’m getting sick of the grind.

Someone should quit because they don’t want to level through three lousy zones anymore and would like other options, because they still enjoy the game and their alts?

I’m hoping for another Legion invasion type system. Was fun and a great way to help with alts.

The BFA Assault are not the same I find.

The BfA assaults were more streamlined, which I enjoyed. Because poop always hit the fan in the scenario unless you were with friends.

But the XP they give isn’t worth it. The buff for finishing them isn’t that exciting to me, either. But at least now it stays there if you log off.

I’d like to see a bit more of an XP boost to the quests and to the buff.

even tho leveling is waaay faster than it used to be…

I kinda feel the same way.

It’s so un-fun. I hate being nomadic and following quest chains full of gimmicks, I prefer to plant myself in a good grinding spot and mob grind 2-3 levels.

If you get sick of leveling/grinding then a mmo is not for you. You’re always going to be “leveling” something in a mmo, either your character level or… some stupid necklace or your item level.

Flying, but otherwise no.

They should increase the xp from the faction incursions, IMO.

timewalking u can go to 110-120 in a few hours

I’ve been leveling my tanks this way. The wait times on DPS class is a long one most of the time.

I actually timed leveling via BfA invasions, and I went from 111 to 112 in just over 20 minutes. At least to me, that’s fairly fast for a level from 110-120 :slight_smile:

How’d you get a level from a BfA invasion? I only get about 1/4 of a level. If that. Am I doing it wrong?

I just did it. Its still the best way to level. You get a crap ton of xp and if your rested you will probably get a full level. You can also use the potion for 10% for like 2 hours on top of heirlooms.

I just ran my 114 through there and got 1/4 of a level. It can’t be possible to get a full level. I haven’t been able to do that in any of the Timewalking events thus far. Are you talking some lower level range or something?

I found using Draught of Ten Lands and if you get the wee buff you can get 1 level per two TW dungeons.

But not one level per.

Hmm. That might bring it up to half a level per. That makes more sense to me. I’ll have to remember the potion buff and the faire.
