Leveling brackets que times 3xs as long now

I personally saw ques jump 1-4 minutes the day and weeks after non-twinks were taken out. So clearly more twinks were taken out than people queing because there were twinks.

I mean, from vanilla till now I’ve been BGing as it’s one of my favorite activities. The amount of times people complained about twinks when it was just a regular player out numbers the amount of times I was in games with twinks by a long shot. :man_shrugging:

I mean ques are 15 minutes + for me. They were 3-5 minutes before twinks were separated. More people = shorter que times… I don’t see why you’re so upset with what I want? :face_with_raised_eyebrow:

Congradulations on being able to read! It only took you how many responses in this thread? :joy:

You can’t promise something you know is a lie. More people = shorter ques, I don’t care how much you try and lie and say it won’t…XP off has been separated two times in this games history and BOTH times que times increased.

So… “you can only have fun in the game if we ruin your character progression or just wear bad gear”

Right…

They’ve been re-added before, I can request and hope they’ll be re-added again…which is literally what this thread is about. You clearly don’t and you’ve stated your opinion. Feel free to move on if you’d like.

Nope. More players = shorter ques. Even if it is a small amount of players it makes for faster ques. It’s common sense.

Same with twinks…players CHOOSE to not have better gear and go into BGs with bad gear, then cry and complain that people are trying harder than them? It’s pathetic, really.

If you want to win, do your best. Buy gear, buy some enchants, and actually try. Seems like common sense to me.

Do you think Mauden accurately captured their bg queue times or not? Or do you think Mauden manipulated their stopwatch to show false information in their screenshots?

Yes, I already stated that he likely did but that there IS something different about the ques he’s able to get into and mine. As mine were 14+ minutes every time.

It was already stated previously in the thread.

What level bracket are you queuing for?

Are you queuing with xp on or xp off?

Are you solo queuing?

Are you queuing with party sync?

Are you queuing on a different account with a lower honor level?

29

On

Yup

Nope, honor lvl 96

Maybe it’s only the 29s then. I started at 30s and I don’t think Mauden tried the 20s. I’m actually impressed how low the queues are with Classic out and end game being the focus for BfA.

Yeah, yeah. We get it. That’s not what I mean. It’s true that a larger player pool will generally reduce queue times (provided that those players don’t just exacerbate faction imbalance). What I mean is, you won’t get people to want you back just for that small difference in wait time.

They were re-added for legion. When templates were in place. Are you beginning to notice a pattern?

Interesting. You’d think that the 29 bracket would be among the most popular since allied races begin at 20 and free to play twinks use it.

Maybe there’s just many more horde than alliance there for some reason. Luckily anyone can just hop onto a zandalari or whatever to see if they really are 15 minutes long.

I think 110 bracket, along with 111-119 is the most popular.

As someone who spent half an expansion in those brackets, I don’t think you guys realize just how many character boosts Blizzard sells. Theres a reason why their sub count is tiny yet their profits are huge.

I skip over the 20s due to throwaway twink/F2P shenanigans. I wonder if that’s a common thing to do.

This is a terrible argument. The average player in these brackets is leveling up and in there for some fair fun. Some do it for a change of pace. Twinks are there because it’s fun to smash people with questing gear. However, go figure, that’s not fun to everyone who isn’t a twink. They aren’t trying harder either. They have a specific goal which is to maximize the kind of gear they can have at a certain level. For the purpose of absolutely destroying everyone else. It’s pathetic, really.

It’s not a matter of winning. If I lose a BG where I had a decent kill count, with some fun fights, I’m not sad at all. If I lose a BG where a single twink was able to kill me in 2 seconds flat? I’ll just go back to leveling.

Uh, no? It’s 100% what I mean. Like, that’s literally the whole point of this post…let me guess, next you’re gonna say my favorite color isn’t red? And that it’s actually purple?

Let’s not talk for other people. I’m a person and my post literally says I’d rather have twinks back if it meant shorter ques…so go ahead and jot that down.

No it’s not. Not at all. Players are complaining that they aren’t trying hard enough to compete in PvP.

PvP is competitive, no matter how you look at it you’re wrong. You can’t complain and cry because someone tries harder than you.

Which is 100% fine. It’s fun for people who try to win, too.

Or because they want to win? That’s literally the objective of PvP, to win.

But nobodies stopping people from gearing their characters before fighting against other players who are trying their hardest to win…? The logic you’re trying to use doesn’t make sense at all.

That’s the problem, people don’t want to put the effort to try and win in the game. They want everyone to wear bad gear so they can win. It’s dumb.

Why shouldn’t you be doing that at every level while leveling, though? I know I do on all my toons. Good gear, enchants, etc

Destroying people too lazy to make their character good? Sure. But PvP is PvP. The whole point of WoW is to make your character as strong as you can. If you DON’T want to do that, you DEFINITELY shouldn’t be PvPing.

Only thing pathetic are people too lazy to make their character the best they can, then going into PvP knowing their gear is bad and crying that the game is broken because everyone else is actually trying to win and having fun. :joy:

… What? I said, “That’s not what I mean.” No one’s putting words into your mouth.

Because you play twinks. That wasn’t a tough mystery to crack. I’m certain there are a few others too but I’d bet my left foot that there aren’t many non-twinks who would sign back up for x9 fishing hat-clad heroes in their BG’s for the ~30 second difference in queue times.

I can already feel you typing “WHERE ARE YOU GETTING THAT NUMBER FROM,” so let me remind you here that estimations exist and this is one of them. How much would you suppose that bringing twinks back would improve queues? 45 seconds, maybe? A minute?

Oh, woopsie. Missread. My bad.

I mean I openly said I gear my characters the best they can be regardless of what level they are.

You realize that hat is worthless in comparison to alternatives, right?

WHERE DID YOU GET THAT NUMBER FROM

I think it would be 2-3 minutes off each que. If you’re waiting 15 minutes each que like I am, that’s pretty significant after just a handful of games.

Each queue? I know you showed a SS of one BG, but you saw SS’s of a good 6-7 that were not even 10 minutes (highest was 8?)

Yup and mine were during the same time as everyone else was taking their screen shots of significantly lower times. So I have no clue. I’m honor level 96 and people said higher honor levels have their own ques I guess which is the only thing i can think of.

I’m over 300 HL and my queues were short. Think they only separate honor levels at max level. My point is, I’ve had a lower level queue or two go 30 minutes before, but that doesn’t make it the norm. Another thing is you said you queue for 29s. Maybe, for w/e reason, that’s not a popular bracket.

Yeah I dunno, clearly It’s not the case for me. :woman_shrugging:

I mean I was testing and posting mine the same exact times they were and mine were consistently 14-15 minutes each time and that’s how it is all the time.

I mean other people had 29’s and their ques were a lot shorter.

Regardless, shorter que times = better for everyone.

Who? Only Mauden and I tested. I didn’t have 29s, did he?

Yup, he did every bracket almost.
